The tourism information centre at the station adviced us this hotel, although we showed up with a baby. It's very cheap and the food ( breakfast ) is freaking good. 10 thumbs up. The rooms are small and we found some mold in the bathroom. Kind of disappointing... but we didn't care much, as it was a one night stay....

We stayed for 3 nights and it fits what other TA editors pointed; very central; From the Shin Osaka JR Station it is actually the west exit, look across the road and one will see it. Keep to your right outside the station and you will path to an underpass.. Hotel is clearly visible from both Metro and JR Shin-Osaka...

We chose New Osaka Hotel due to it convenient location. It took us 5 min walk from Shin Osaka Station to the hotel. Exit from The Central exit of the station, turn left when you face the big carpark, walk straight to the end and follow the path, you will see the entrance of the hotel. The lobby was located...

This was my third time staying at the New Osaka Hotel. The biggest advantage with this hotel is the fact it is easy to find from Shin Osaka station. The twin room was awkwardly shaped, but there was enough space to move around and not really get in each other's way. The bathroom is a typical prefab cubicle, and all...

This hotel is in a good location, easy to get to. From the airport, the train takes you to Shin-Osaka station and the hotel is nearby, within walking distance. Being close to the station enables easy access to other places of interest in Osaka. The hotel reception staff were courteous but not helpful. When we arrived after midnight, they seem...

Probably the only great thing about this hotel is the location, it's very easy for shopping. That's why I chose this place. The price is not inexperience for Japanese hotel, but with AUD$150 a night, I can find a lot nicer hotel and cheaper price in Melbourne at a central location. The worst thing about this place was that I...

Very good location next to shin-Osaka train station. Good for those who have Japan rail passes and traveling on the shinkansen between Kyoto and Osaka - stay in Osaka if you want to save money. Very clean and honest hotel. Japanese-style small room with hard mattress, not good for spending a lot of time in it if you are claustrophobic.

I would stay here again for location alone. (directions from station below). The lobby was very grand but the room very basic. Small with a semi double bed which I found very hard to share without waking up. The room was a bit shabby, but we werent there much. The breakfast was fantastic. Everything we could imagine (apart from good...

Very accessible. Exit at Central Gate Groun d Level then look northwest -- it is visible from there. There is a Family Mart convenience store nearby -- would be practical to eat quick meals there to save some yen. Shinkansen station hub --quick access to major cities.

The room is basic but meets our needs so no complaints there. As mentioned by others, it's within a short walking distance from the Shin-Osaka station and it's viewable from the station. So you don't have to worry about getting a connection after arriving by train. There are no entertainment districts close by so you'll need to take a local...
