First of all, Imperial hotel is one of the best hotel in Japan. You can get real OMOTENASHI (hospitality) from this Japanese hotel. I took a taxi from Osaka station to this hotel, the taxi dropped me on the first floor. The bell service immediately approached me asked if i would stay. He explained that checkin lobby is actually on...

Had the opportunity to visit Osaka for business, and my wife and I had a three night stay at the Imperial Hotel. Highly recommend; five star service and a very elegant modern hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and I loved Old Imperial Bar in particular. The bar is old school, sophisticated and the service impeccable. Located on the rivers...

Hotelstaff is extremely quick to pick up your luggage and help you. In fact all staff are. Check in (reservation was made earlier) was quick too. I only use dinner (after a few hours sleep (jetlag) and breakfast before I leave so I can not comment well on other facilities of the hotel. The rooms are fine too, beds are...

We visited Osaka during the cherry blossom season in April. The hotel is actual competing quite well with other classic US chains, but his location is spectacular. Just on the river that is sided by cherry trees. But what we valued was also that it is literally less than 10min walking distance from a JR station from which you can...

From the second I arrived at the hotel, I was treated like a VIP - someone offered to carry my bags and directed me to the check-in counter while carrying on a delightful conversation with me in English. At the check-in counter, they realized it was my birthday and gave me a very nice picture frame as a present. Check...

Great size rooms in comparison to other Japan sized rooms. Hotel is far from train stations and amenities however hotel provides a courtesy bus from Osaka train station which comes regularly. The use of hotel pool and gym is very expensive and charged daily. It was equivalent to approx $80 per day use and amenities were minimal. The last night...

We stayed as part of a tour. The staff were courteous and helpful. The location is not central, however the facility was excellent. If you have the chance to just take a walk along the river is nice. It also helps to work off the extra calories put on the tour!!!

Pro's - Beautiful scenery of the river and I could just imagine that during the Cherry blossom season it would've been more beautiful. Spacious room even with 3 beds it sleeps 5 people comfortably- 2 adults and 3 children (ages 5,8,11) Loved the quick room service and the free shuttle buses to and from Osaka Station. You can purchase your...

We were very pleased with our experience: extremely courteous staff, large, beautiful room with view both of the city and the park and river. Bell boy brought our luggage upstairs and absolutely refused out tip. Japanese, we found out, see tipping as almost an insult and will reject it. The lobby downstairs is extremely elegant and offers wonderful (though rather...
