The hotel itself is beautiful. It’s brand new, smells excellent and has some incredible design features. The rooms are very spacious, modern and the linens are top notch.
Large TV, excellent free wifi, very comfortable and large shower with a tub. We had an amazing view from our room of downtown Osaka.
The location is close enough to the Namba line that it doesn’t feel out of the way in the least. We had read that the hotel was a little far away from the action of Osaka, but we found the hotel to be perfectly situation. A very safe 10 minute stroll down one street and you are in the mix of Osaka nightlife.
We couldn’t be more pleased with our 4 night stay here as part of our one year anniversary trip to Japan.
⭐️ room&cleanliness is 10/10 as high standard as i knew centara, also big space for my roomtype
⭐️ location is close to everything 1 km away from dotonbori, kuromon market and many more
The rooms as expected are top quality and hotel overall good condition. The air ventilation was silent and provided consistent temp ( I normally find hotel HVAC systems too be too noisy!)
One slight improvement to the rooms would be the electrical outlets, if the wall sockets could accommodate the international variants that would be a useful feature. I had UK 3 pin and EURO 2 pin shaving / toothbrush devices would I was unable to charge.
Overall a great stay, all the staff had been attentive and professional from the moment we arrived and checked out.
The coffee tasted better straight from the machine than the coffee that was poured for you.
I ate Thai food, Japanese food, meal bread, five or six different types of bread, and even fruit.
When traveling, it's not easy to eat fruit or breakfast.
All front desk staff can speak English.
As I was leaving, I saw other people responding to me, and there was also a staff member who could speak Korean.
I'm not an English speaker, so my English is broken.
They said it accordingly and I was able to understand it all.
It may vary depending on the room, but I also got a cup of the capsule coffee I used to drink at home and even a decaffeinated capsule... I think they paid a lot of attention to detail.
The sign next to the bed said to change towels and leave them on the floor or in the bathtub, so I kept them and even washed the towels and pajamas regularly.
On the last day, the breakfast restaurant staff spoke at length in Korean and I was touched. I felt warmth and kindness in their words. Thank you.
If you're looking for a flaw, like other people's reviews, there is a train noise. I was on the 16th floor, and it made a bit of noise. I'm a sensitive person, so I thought it would be annoying, but I was probably tired during the trip and slept so well that it didn't bother me at all.
It was for 4 nights, so I made a reservation with the intention of moving it midway if it wasn't possible, but I sent it without any worries at all.
The nearby Dotonbori is a short walk to the subway station, and it was easy to get there by train from Kansai Airport by taking the Rapi:t Limited Express.
I didn't get to see Namba Parks right next door, but it would be great to see it since it's right next door.
I felt like my trip was successful because I chose the right hotel.
Perhaps because it was a recently built hotel, it was clean and nice.
I was even thankful for the child's toothbrush and children's pajamas and slippers.
What I liked about the hotel is the location. As everybody else says, Location, Location, Location. Easily accessible to and from both Osaka’s domestic & international Airports via JR Trains.
I wish there was complimentary breakfast, but it's okay because nearby Namba Station is a wide variety of places to eat, bakeries, coffee shops, and more, too many to choose from. That makes it so convenient to grab groceries, dine out, or take away for your hotel room.
Lighting is awesome, bathroom counter was somewhat spacious, but the space of the room itself which was fairly large. There was also a desk for work space and a small chair and table to sit and relax. Front Desk staff was friendly, while my room was clean and tidy. Typically, hotel rooms in Asia have toiletries available in your hotel room without having to pack much. The fitness center I didn't use on this trip, but will check out on future visits in the event the weather is not ideal to go out or if plans aren't made. Shower and bathtub was in a seperate room which is very unique to hotel rooms. Also the toilet room was private as well. Plenty of closet space too. Television was a smart TV where you could stream Netflix, Hulu, or Disney Plus.
All I can say is that Centara Grand is a grand hotel!
Our room on the 30th floor offered a great view of Osaka and was a great respite from the busy city below. The bed was a true King and not two twins pushed together that are found so often in Japan hotels. With the black out curtains that kept out the light even at 10am, it was the best sleep we had during our Japan trip, hands down! The location is convenient; close to tons of shopping, food, and train stations. Highly recommend!
Staff, they were very courteous.
I'd like to use it again.
The room faces the Nanbo Line Railway. The L-shaped floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to watch the trains passing by. You can also see the child's crib. The shower, bathtub, toilet, and washbasin are all separated, making it convenient for multiple people to use them at the same time. We are very satisfied with this stay. stay.
The main points of the hotel are great. You can go directly from Nankai Namba Station to the shopping street and department store to the lobby on the second floor of the hotel. There is a dedicated parking and pick-up waiting space on the first floor. There are many restaurants nearby. There is a LAWSON supermarket diagonally opposite and the Parks department store next to it. There is Harbs fruit layer cake that I love, and I ate it for two days in a row. Canele TRI-CO has many delicious flavors. Living here makes us satisfied in every aspect. There is also itori izakaya, which is open until midnight, which is a great date party. Great place.
Before check-in, I sent a piece of luggage to the hotel, which was also very considerate and sent directly to the room. What was even more considerate was that check-out was postponed until 2 pm. I really recommend everyone to stay here.
The hotel is absolutely amazing, from when you arrive the beautiful aroma, the decor throughout, the rooms are spacious and bright. The beds are extra comfortable, the blockout blinds are truly blockout, when it was 7am it felt like midnight. The towels are plush, you even have pyjamas to wear, everything is thought of. Don't forget to visit the rooftop bar for a spectacular view, delicious food snd it has a great choice of beverages. Thank you again for a truly amazing experience. We will be back!!
