The hotel is located not far from the train station, however the walk path from the train station is via underground tunnel where there isn't a list if you travel with heavy luggage or with elders. The hotel rooms in the high rise building are mixed with residential apartments and commercial offices depending on the floor of your hotel room. The flooring, carpet and smell can given you a sense of aging. The staffs at the counter are average, however they do try to provide a good service. The biggest surprise to me was that the buffet breakfast included in the rate are for the very simple breakfast at the 2nd floor, if you would like to go have buffet at level 51, then you have to pay on top to upgrade, which in my view isnt cheap. None of the two breakfasts are part of the hotel, they are separate businesses which work with the hotel - thats probably why people are still given vouchers. Price for the hotel alone isn't bad, The area is convenient where there are supermarkets, pharmacies and etc.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback about your recent stay at our hotel. We appreciate your insights, as they help us improve the overall guest experience. We're pleased to hear that you found the location convenient and the hotel pricing reasonable. We are sorry any inconvenience caused by the walk path from the train station, and we'll explore ways to improve accessibility, especially for guests with heavy luggage or elders. We understand your concerns about the sense of aging in the flooring, carpet, and smell. We take this feedback seriously and will work to enhance the overall condition of our rooms. And we apologize for any surprise regarding the breakfast offerings. We understand your concerns about the separate businesses operating the breakfast services and the additional cost for an upgraded buffet experience. We will review our communication to provide more clarity to our guests. Once again, thank you for choosing to stay with us. We value your feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for an improved experience in the future. Sincerely yours, Reception, Art Hotel Osaka Bay Tower

I spent one week in a Superior Queen room in September/October. It was a decent size room. Not a lot of free space, had to keep stuff in my suitcases. I was out most of the time anyways. Housekeeping could be a little inconsistent probably depending on which does your room, one threw out a bag I was using to put my spare shoes in that I left next to my shoes. Overall it's good hotel and good price. I would say three stars out of five. I wouldn't mind staying at it again. I'm giving an extra star because of the service. I was checked in by Nanami M. who was very personable and helpful. She also was the last person I interacted with, after I checked out and explored more I went to retrieve my luggage and she was at the desk so I asked her if there's a taxi stand nearby. I was transferring to another hotel in Osaka closer to a venue I was going to the next day. She told me where the taxis are located, said she'd go check to see if there was one I could use, and call me one if there wasn't. She also helped me take my suitcases to it and made sure they had the right address. There's a laundry room on B1, it's marked on the elevator, you swipe your keycard to enter. Standard machine I found at a different hotel in Tokyo. Their machines only takes ¥100 coins. ¥600 for the 2 hour wash and dry cycle so a little more than the other hotel in Tokyo. Machines didn't look to be cleaned regularly. It might be confusing for you arriving there at first. It's connected to a shopping mall area with onsen. If you follow the signs, depending on which direction you come from, you might see the Burger King and Vie de France. The entrance is across from the FamilyMart, it looks like it's part of the mall because there's like a cafe and bakery inside, you can take the escalator downstairs to the lobby or go left to the elevators. It's close to Bentencho station. It's very convenient if you need to use the Chuo Line. If you need to use the JR lines, like Osaka Loop Line, it's a bit more of a walk as you'll have to go downstairs of the 2B exit out onto the street and go through the underpass to go across the street to JR Bentencho station. They have luggage storage with locking cables you can put through your suitcase handles. Very crowded though.

Thank you for staying with us and sharing your detailed experience during your stay in the Superior Queen room at our hotel. We appreciate your thorough feedback, and I'm glad to hear that our service left a positive impression on you. We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced with housekeeping, particularly the incident with the disposal of your bag. We will address this with our housekeeping staff to ensure better consistency in the future. Your insights into the laundry facilities are valuable, and we will look into improving the cleanliness and convenience of the machines in the B1 laundry room. We understand that the hotel's location and layout may be confusing, especially for first-time visitors. We will work on improving signage to make it easier for guests to navigate and find the entrance. We appreciate your kind words about our convenient location near Bentencho station and your mention of the luggage storage facilities. We'll consider ways to alleviate the crowding issue in the storage area. We are grateful for your positive rating and the extra star for the excellent service provided by one of our staff. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back on your future visits to Osaka. Best regards, Recetion, Art Hotel Osaka Baytower

My family spent a total of 4 nights at The Art Hotel Osaka Bay, 1 night in a Triple Room and 3 nights in a Quadruple. Connected to the JR Bentenchō Station along the Osaka Loop line, it was our best choice due to its proximity to Universal Studios Japan. But being on the Osaka Loop Line means all the other tourist attractions are easily accessible. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. We loved the simple interior and there was enough space for all our luggage, 6 of them! We were given rooms on the 23rd and 24th floors and we enjoyed fantastic views of the Osaka skyline! Toiletries are provided as in most of Japanese hotels. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The toilet and bath are separate which is good. The staff are courteous and helpful. When you go out through the hotel's 2nd floor exit, you will find restaurants, cafes, Burger King, shops, a convenience store and a drug store and the Solaniwa Onsen. It is also where the footbridge to JR Bentenchō Station is accessed. We booked through Booking.com and found a really good bargain which gave us a good value for our money. I would love to try their breakfast at the 51st floor and the famous Solaniwa Onsen next time. Please note the hotel offers free shuttle service to Universal Studios Japan but only during weekends. The North Exit of the Bentencho Station which is connected to the hotel by a footbridge has no elevator. The escalator is only for going up. If you have big luggage, you have to take the South Exit for the elevator and go down to the underpass to cross the street and walk to the hotel's main entrance. To summarize, we had a nice stay at the Art Hotel Osaka Bay Tower. We will stay again when in Osaka area.

Booked 4 nights here with breakfast at a very reasonable price for husband and I and our 11 year old son. I booked 3 single beds. The room was huge and the view was spectacular! Pjs and slippers provided along with kettle, fridge, tea and coffee etc. plugs and usb next to each bed with light switches. Bed was very comfy and there were extra pillows in the room if needed. Had separate area to hang clothes as well and place suitcases and bags. Separate toilet from shower and bath- lots of room in there. Hotel was spotless! Check in was nice and easy. Breakfast vouchers were given for each day we were there at check in. Breakfast was perfect for us-buffet style. Had things like sausages, eggs, bacons etc. Different types of bread and rolls and a toaster there. Fruit salad with yoghurt. Coffee and variety of teas. Definitely enough to set us up for the day. Hotel located perfectly at train station. Found it very easy to get to universal studios. Shops all around for food etc. would absolutely recommend this hotel and if I was coming back I would be sure to book this one

This Hotel surprised me. It’s budget but at good motel standard in Australia and has incredible views over Osaka, and it’s across the road from a station. It runs shuttles to Universal Studios but do be aware only on weekends.

Selected this hotel due to the location : Near the JR train line, city train line, aquarium and convenient for Universal Studio. Also, near by restaurants. Made the booking through Booking.com and received confirmation for 1 adult and 1 child with breakfast included. Arrived and was asked to pay for the extra breakfast for the child, showed the confirmation to no avail. I was told that I "did not understand my confirmation" and was shown a "policy and procedure"on the hotel computer to prove that I was wrong. I also received an email to state that I simply did not understand and should pay attention to the "fine print". So be it.I won't return and I won't recommend this hotel. I would recommend that the hotel work with the On Line Agent that they have authorized to sell on their behalf to make sure that you don't send confirmations that breakfast is included when it is not. Overall, the hotel seems to be a "Policy and Procedure" driven property, with the emphasis on this instead of guest service, warmth, or even a willingness to listen to a guest. Other examples : 1) the hotel still issues breakfast coupons ( out dated ) as this puts the responsibility on the guest to manage their breakfast. Guest info is in the hotel system but if you go to breakfast without the coupon, it's a hassle. 2) Twice I took my son to dinner buffet and informed the hostess, only my son was having dinner. Twice I was presented a bill for one adult one child buffet. Twice I had to wait while a manager came to confirm that I was "telling the truth" Again, policy and procedure overriding guest service. 3) Breakfast is listed as served till 10am, the voucher says 9;30 and the staff go to the table at 9;15 to tell you last order last chance for food. 4) I left the restaurant once to go to the restroom, when I was walking back in to my table, I was stopped at the door with a palm to my face to tell me stop. Again, instead of being asked 'may I help you" I was treated according to policy, don't enter the restaurant if you don't have a coupon. 5) I went to what I assumed was the concierge service counter, there were three staff standing there. I wanted to ask about the train schedule to the airport. A staff just pointed to the other counter where guests were waiting in line to to check in and check out Again, I wasn't asked "may I help you" just pointed to a line to go stand in. 6) Rooms are a little on the hot side, temperature cannot be controlled. When asked the Front Desk what could be done, I was told the hotel heating system is the heating system and can't be changed. I was told to just open the window. Rooms are fine, a bit out of date, but clean and everything works. Food was okay, although the breakfast buffet which is advertised as international is barely so. A few dry cereals, a few pastries and eggs & sausages do not make it so, The Japanese food and selection is great though. Location is great, to bad the hotel can't match the location.

There was a lot to like about this hotel, but what I appreciated most would be how they took care of even the smallest things. From Bentenchō Station to checking in and to checking out, everything was a breeze. Art Hotel Osaka Bay Tower is conveniently located just a short stroll from Bentenchō Station. Location is still a bit of a hidden gem - it's not overrun by tourists, but you still have easy access to popular spots in Osaka. It's perfect for travelers who wish to relax after a long day of exploring this beautiful country. There's also no shortage of great food at Art Hotel Osaka Bay Tower. I'm happy with the dining options inside the hotel. There's even a bar where you can go for a night cap. There's a Family Mart just across the hotel's entrance at the back, which was really convenient for late night snacks. Art Hotel Osaka Bay Tower also provides one of the best hotel toiletries. I'm glad that they've thought of the little details. We had cleansing oil, toner, and even moisturizer. The hair dryer is usually a deal-breaker for me, but theirs was of good quality. Bathroom lighting made fixing yourself & putting make-up easy. Complimentary in-room UCC coffee was much-appreciated as well as the smart phone which allowed guests to make free international calls ( to select countries though ). There were more than enough outlets in our room, which was super good. I brought an extension with me, but I didn't have to use it. There were enough outlets for our phones, smart watches, power banks, Nintendo Switch, and bluetooth speakers. Flying out late? Your luggage won't be a problem. The hotel has an area where you can store your luggage. It's safe and it's free :) Overall, our stay at Art Hotel Osaka Bay Tower was perfect. Got a room at one of the sky floors & I'm glad I did. They know how to pamper their guests. To everyone at Art Hotel, keep up the good work. I hope that the hotel maintains these standards. Cant wait to be back ❥

This hotel is a nice place to stay in Yokohama. But don't expect too much. My room was clean but small and smelly. I had a nice view over the city though. Other than the name suggested, I couldn't find any art anywhere in the hotel. The breakfast selection is huge and tasty with great views over the city. Be aware, that the hotel is quite a distance from the city center. Train and subway stations are close by but service stops quite early.
