Japanese hotels, even budget hotels, are far superior to anything I find in North America so you couldn't possibly want more than what they offer. It is clean, comfortable room, wifi worked well, quick and efficient check-in, provided toiletries and pjs. Hotel had luggage storage for after my check-out while I toured around for the day.
Hotel has a restaurant that is open for guest breakfast. You may want to skip or go early as there is a queue for those eating before park opens. This is no continental breakfast; there is so so much food, variety, and choices. Excellent breakfast. Excellent location, Excellent price, Excellent room, Excellent restaurant, Excellent staff.
Only knock is that you will not be allowed in the SkySpa if you have tattoos. This is Japanese culture unfortunately and happened in a number of locations on my trip. Thankfully some locations are being progressive and allowing people with tattoos into the onsens and public baths with tattoos, but this isn't one of them.

Try to aim for the early morning times instead of night- especially just right after the park has closed.
Reception was efficient, polite and they show the opening hours and closed attractions for the day at USJ in the lobby, that would help those who are heading to USJ and need some information I guess.

Breakfast was wide choice however much was luke warm. Long queues in morning which moved quickly. No dinner options at hotel. Wifi worked well.
Wasn’t brave enough to use onsen.
Staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming.
We asked for a quiet room and it was!
Overall a great stay and we would recommend for those going to universal.

The toilets on the front floor were dirty and not cleaned.
The staff were all foreigners and it was hard to communicate. They forgot to hand over the breakfast voucher for the second day, so there was a lot of hecticness at the restaurant.
The room was just the right size for an overnight stay.
There was no safe in the room, and we had to use the large public bath separately.
This was the biggest problem.
The water in the water cooler in the large public bath wasn't cold.
The breakfast taste and selection were average.
I don't think I'll be using this hotel again.

The check-in process was smooth but you do need to pick out your amenities at the lobby. They provide toothbrush in the room but that’s it. You can buy coffee if you need it at a convenient store just down the road.
The sound poof is non existent..I was hearing my upstairs neighbor footsteps and TV till late in the night. When I call the front desk and ask if they could send someone over, the attitude was fairly rude. For a Japanese hotel, I was pretty surprise by their attitude. I used both English and Japanese, and I was floored by their short responses. They did send someone over to speak to my upstairs neighbor (I can hear the door opening) but the noise only stopped after they went to bed. I don’t fault the guests but I think the hotel really needs to do something about the noise.
The room was clean and bed was huge. Overall, it was a nice room with adequate amenities given the cost. There is no safe in the room, which wasn’t a problem for me but might be for some who’s carrying passports and valuable items.
All in all, It was fine for the price we paid, but if you are dishing out more than 150/night, I think you can find much better accommodations elsewhere.
