Conrad Osaka
Me and my family stayed at Conrad Osaka for 5 nights as part of our Round The World Trip. I booked using points to get one night free and I didn't put high expectation or high recognition because using point. I was wrong.

Upon arrival at the ground floor, I was assisted by very friendly staff to an elevator that bring us to 40th floor. Yes, the check in lobby is at 40th floor. At the lobby, a staff welcome us with big smile and recognize my elite status. She then bring us to the executive lounge which located at 39th floor and this is where all the magic happened.

Miss Sarah Park, the Executive Lounge Manager welcome us and sit us at the table with a very nice view. She helped me to check in and explained the hotel and facilities to us. She also welcome us to help ourselves with drinks and some snack in the lounges. Miss Sarah Park has a very positive energy and we can feel her passion in doing her job and try her best to make me and my family feel at home.

After getting the key, we went to our room which located few floors below. The room was very big and very clean. We like round bath tub which is very big and elegant.

Breakfast was perfect with so many selection and delicious. The restaurant staffs are very friendly and always put a smile on their face.

We also have a chance to use the swimming pool. The swimming pool is heated and big enough for us. There is also a sauna but we didn't try it.

Thank you Miss Sarah Park that made our stay memorable. Conrad Osaka is the best hotel that we stayed during our Round The World trip and I definitely recommend Conrad Osaka for your stay in Osaka.

Regards,
Iwan and Family

Soonest our taxi approached the curbside, the Bellman already greeting us with bright smile and after we settled the payment with the driver, our luggage were already on the cart and he walked us to the lobby, called us an elevator with the same bright smile on his face. Very impressive.

On our day of arrival, looked like the hotel was having an important event so even there were two Agent working at their 40th floor Front Desk but they were too concentrated to their monitor and did not recognized our present for a few minutes. However, the service is good, flawless typical City Commercial hotel formality offered, nothing more and nothing less.

Spent the whole day out as this was our first Osaka trip and came back to the room only found out our lovely Conrad Bear already in bed! This is our first to have this kind of turndown service. Wow!

Went to the Lounge for an evening drink, the Manager politely informed us that a cover charge will be imposed even we are the hotel guest. We enjoyed the atmosphere , the drink and especially the services offered by the staff there.

The breakfast is another highlight, the Restaurant Manager and his Team offered top notch service to ensure we received the best experience the hotel could provided. From the buffet counter selections, cook to order food item to the cappuccino etc. Thank you so much.

Overall, I would like to say there was a bit 'cold' feeling from the Front Desk Team on our arrival but the Housekeeping Team broke the ice and the Restaurant Team totally smashed it.

We enjoyed our stay very much.

We stayed for one week in Nov 2018 and the review is coming in a bit late. Conrad Osaka is pretty new at the time we visited and it has a modern design with an amazing view of Osaka in their lobby. Breakfast has lots of variety and has an amazing view as well. Room is modern and spacious. The concierge helped us to book a few dining reservations in Osaka and Kyoto in advance prior to our arrival.

The staffs were very polite and friendly. Thank you for your hospitality at the time of check-in. As is known, the room was large and clean. Facing the view of the famous Conrad Osaka directly, admiration came naturally. I saw quite a few reviews complaining about the location of the hotel, but for my family with children, it was much better than crowded places such as Namba, and we were able to go anywhere we wanted through two nearby subway stations.

We used the pool and sauna four times during our stay. The pool's water quality was good, and the locker room and sauna were clean and well-maintained. In particular, I would like to highly praise the male staff who frequently checked the water quality and provided water to the users.

We had breakfast for five days, and the steak was really tender and excellent. However, the menu for five days was similar, so I thought it was a little monotonous.

I want to revisit there.

As expected, this is a handsome and luxurious spot. Great service across the board - shout out to Roberto who was the first person we met when checking in. Super welcoming.

The room was gorgeous. Great views (and because of the height of the building I’d assume that is true across the board).
Nicely appointed. Clean linens. Comfy bed.

The breakfast was, once again as expected, superb and pricey. There is a tea kettle and espresso machine in the room with tea bags and coffee pods.

Location is fine. We were there for a short bit of time so I’m not sure I’m a judge of this. There is a Metro stop below the building. Otherwise, the neighborhood seems to have a lot of offices so I’m not sure I’d be hanging around the area.

Some tasty food options in the building itself including a convenience store on the basement level.

This is by far the best hotel I have stayed so far. The entire experience staying at Conrad Osaka exceeded our expectation. (This is by comparing to Intercontinental Osaka which we had stayed previously too.)

We were upgraded to and checked in at the executive floor as a Gold member. As we booked through FHR, we also received complimentary breakfasts, 4pm late checkout and $US125 hotel credit. The whole experience from checking in (escorted) and checking out were simply amazing (Both during the afternoon tea time sitting at the lounge). The entire Conrad team from the entrance area to the executive lounge were professional, friendly, courteous and had genuine smiles all the time. The food selections at Atmos during breakfast were great. We also dined at the executive lounge during a night cocktail session. It was just wonderful to be able to use the lounge whenever we needed before 10pm each evening.

When we entered our room on the day of check-in we also received welcome gifts and anniversary treat. Very thoughtful from the hotel.

I’d like to thank especially for the assistance we received from Mr. Roberto, the Bell Concierge Leader. He greeted us every single day coming in and out of Conrad. My son was entertained by him everyday too. I can’t fault the amazing service and the wonderful hospitality we received from Conrad.

If there was one thing, it would be the entrance signage heading to the pool area is through the change room need to be a lot more clear, shoes need to be taken off and etc. Normally guests can just enter the pool area directly (at other hotels). But then this is only because this hotel has a wonderful pool/spa/sauna area similar to a traditional Japanese indoor “onsen”.

Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience and making us feel right at home. We will definitely return.

I suppose travellers who may consider Conrad Osaka would have looked at their website and got attracted to the hotel's view overseeing large parts of the city through the huge panels of glass windows. When I arrived at the lobby I was instantly taking in the breathtaking scenary - buildings streets and other constructions all with lights on against a dark clear sky evening backdrop.

As the hotel was in operation for only a few years, the facilities and amenities were expectedly new and clean. Room design was modern without being overly posh. The suite we took managed to sleep 4, and the hotel had connecting rooms as well so it would be a good choice for family/group of friends.

Team of staff were cordial, attentive to details and some were very cheerful and would go around chatting with guests which gave an extra touch of warmth. Housekeeping team were also very kind to recommend us to try the tea they have prepared for us which I did and it was helpful in winding myself down.

Food selection for breakfast was vast and delicious, so watch out for taking too much and ended up having to skip trying out food when heading out for visits.

The pool was adequate for some serious swimming. Gym was smaller than expected and the equipments were adequate for basic workouts.

As usual I pay some emphasis on selection of room hoping to get better sleep environment. This time our suite was facing the Umeda area and there was a highway/toll road right in front. For unknown reasons ambulances/fire service vehicles rushed past the road several times a night at different hours with sirens on, and unfortunately I got awaken two or three times during my 5-night stay. Not sure if staying at rooms on the opposite side would be better, perhaps it is worth a try next time.

Overall it was a wonderful stay and am sure Conrad would be one of the hotels which I would pick again during our next visit to Osaka.

We (2 adults, 1 child) traveled to Osaka as part of our family trip and stayed at Conrad Osaka for one night using a Free Night Certificate given to us by American Express Hilton Aspire card. We had been looking forward to the stay because our experience at Conrad Tokyo was perfect so we had high expectation towards Conrad Osaka as well. Well, the hotel did not disappoint! Check-in was smooth and fast. The staff was extremely friendly and chatted with me a bit about my experience at other Hilton hotels around the world. Such small talks are what make a hotel stay special. We were upgraded to a larger room due to my Diamond member status. Although it was not a suite, the room was huge compared to other city hotels in Japan, and the night view was drop-dead gorgeous! My wife loved the gigantic bathroom while my son loved the comfortable bed. It was winter in Japan at that time, so instead of going out to look for dinner, we went to the Executive Lounge to enjoy the Happy Hour instead. While the food selection was not as good as the one at Conrad Tokyo, it was nonetheless sufficient and acceptable. Good wine selection together with beautiful night view, what else can you ask for? Breakfast was also excellent. Lots of variety and choices and there's simply not enough room in one's stomach to try them all. My only complaint was about a Korean female manager at the restaurant. She kept yelling at one specific waiter in Japanese and that made our breakfast less pleasant because we could understand what she was saying. If a supervisor wants to discipline a staff, he/she should do it privately and discreetly without making a scene. Other than that, Conrad Osaka is a fantastic hotel and the Free Night Certificate was worth every penny of it. Definitely one of the best hotel experience we have ever had!

My wife, two adult daughters and I stayed 4 nights at the Conrad Osaka. From the moment we arrived and were whisked (with the help of Ron) straight to the 40th floor for check in, all was perfect. Also Midori-san was awesome checking us in and providing excellent concierge services as well. We also had the luxury of being Diamond members of Hilton, which allowed us use of the executive lounge on the 39th floor, which was spectacular in terms of the view, quality of service and the feeling of exclusivity. Amy and Sharples were also great at assisting us with our daily requests at the lounge. The rooms were also spacious with great views of the city and the hotel is right on top of the metro station so its wildly convenient! All around we had a very wonderful stay at the Conrad

One of the best properties in Osaka. Beautiful views from every room and the restaurants and lounge. Great breakfast and we got a nice corner room upgrade for being a diamond member.

The executive lounge can get crowded and it looks like some people were trying use it for dinner. The food was ok but go out and find real food - Osaka has so many amazing choices that if you can stay at the Conrad, you should be able to get a real meal!
