We chose this hotel because its just around Osaka station, and that is the only good thing I can say about this hotel. Considering that this is Japan, and I expect a very clean, if not a modern room, I was a little bit disappointed with this hotel. When I ask for the direction to Uniqlo Osaka which is actually...

The hotel New Hankyu Annex is located in the center of Osaka near the Umeda station. It is a perfect location. There are many restaurants and department stores incl. Uniqlo in walkable distance. Also the limousine bus to Kansai and Itami is only 200 meters away. The service is friendly and the rooms have all appliances a traveler needs.

I stayed at New Hankyu Hotel Annex in 2016/8 on business. As I visited to New Hankyu Hotel(not Annex) last time, I wanted to compare this time. I had a reservation of the room that hotel-side chose and the charge was around US$130/day. It takes 10mins on foot from Osaka(Umeda) station and also 5mins from New Hankyu Hotel. Then the...

Last hotel occupied in 9 nights trip to Japan and was the only disappointment. The front desk staff was neither smiling nor polite, a rare experience in Japan. The rooms were even more cramp than you find in some budget hotels though the price is of mid-range hotel. The beds are good and bathroom just ok. There is an electric...

Don't mistake this hotel for its pricier twin. Its proximity to the rail station allows you easy access to almost anywhere. Shopping is a cinch even as there are numerous shops and pocket malls nearby. Numerous superb dining options in the vicinity. If you need a drink, just go up the escalators and a smorgasbord of bars, karaoke and all,...

A cosy hotel just in the perfect location. There are some small rooms (wich are cheaper) but it is a choice you made when booking. There is enough space to have your luggages beside the bed, so if you are looking for a place just to sleep, that it the one. You have all the amenities you need in the...

We had a triple room in New Hankyu Annex. The room is spacious enough with 3 king single beds (comfortable mattress) & separate powder area. It is tricky to manage if you have a few large suitcases but we made do. The room is very clean as expected of a Japanese hotel. The front staff is courteous & housekeeping is...

The small room is VERY small. We upgraded to a better room for only $50.00 a night. It's worth it. The room is two times bigger. The buffet breakfast is offered in the other two of their hotels. Don't eat here! Go to the left for about a block and feast your eyes on a huge buffet with many options.

The location is good, there are lots of restaurants and shopping malls nearby. A few minutes walk to Umeda metro or Osaka central station, which is quite convenient for travellers. However, the room I stayed was really small – two single beds are placed together as if it's a bed for two. There was little room for movement and placing...

The hotel looks quite old, room keys are literally "keys" and not tap cards. Check-in took longer than the usual time. Passports of all guests are required despite our booking was pre-paid thru online reservation. No concierge to assist with luggage. If you have friends in Osaka and would like to visit you during your stay, visitors are prohibited entry...
