The customer service is pretty bad and unaccommodating. The rooms are small, not very well maintained and quite outdated. Breakfast was very basic. We paid for 7 nights upfront, but something came up and we would have liked to check out a couple of days earlier. The front office guy was RUDE and wouldn't even consider a refund, even though...

At check-in, nobody was smiling. The man pretended he couldn't speak English, so my cousin had to check-in for us. When we got to our room, we found that the wallpaper was torn, the bathroom light was rusty, there wasn't a fridge, there wasn't a kettle and the room was tiny(it was a double room with another bed shoved in...

Nice, why? First visit to Japan, you need a good hotel staff. Staff here is excellent, most importantly they speak English. They are also very accommodating and hospitable. Next nice thing, this place is very close to hotel Rihaga (which has free shuttle to Osaka station), Nankonshin station (for easy travel to kyoto) and Awaza station (to travel anywhere else)....

Only one problem,it's 15minute walk from the nearest train station, higobashi and awaza station. Then everything is fine for a budget hotel, the food(breakfast),room size (small adequate for 2 to 3 person),strong wi fi signal, bathroom amenities and etc.... Nice hotel and I will be back to this hotel next time...

The hotel is unknown by cab drivers! Room is very small, no closet for clothes, staffs weren't very helpful, breakfast was bread, egg, tea/coffee only. Far walk to the nearest subway. Staff wouldn't accommodate any request at all! With free wifi though.

Rooms are very poor, outdated and molded! Never seen such a small hotel room! Breakfast was fine with fresh bread and croissant. About a 20 min walk to the nearest subway and a 2 min walk to nearest bus stop.

The staff was pretty friendly, but that's about it. :) Room wasn't super small like some of the other hotels we had been too, though it was a lot more expensive. Not too noisy. Clean, except that our walls were looking a bit beat up. The nearest station wasn't very near (about a 10 minute walk).
