This was the first hotel we stayed at on our trip around Japan. The hotel itself is located between Namba and Umeda - we walked from Namba station which took about 15/20 mins. The nearest tube is Hommachi station and takes about 5 mins costing under 200 yen. The hotel is very compact with the reception area also being the...

The hotel is located 2 blocks from the Hommachi Station on a very quiet narrow one way street that during commuting hours pedestrians easily out number cars. Our room 1103 was located on a smoking floor, as non-smokers (hotel was very busy at this time we were knowingly booked into a smoking room), the smoking smell in both the room...

Very good priced hotel in the middle of Osaka city that is only a three minute walk from the Hommachi subway station (Midosouji line which heads directly to Namba station that connects to Kansai airport and the JR Shinkansen station, Shin-Osaka) Breakfast was light, but good enough to start the day, and the room was a decent size in terms...

Arietta meets the brief in terms of location, great service, cleanliness & safety. It's located in Honmachi, close to the St.Regis. Great access to the subway and the shopping and eating district is a little over a km away. The room and the hallways were extremely clean and the breakfast though sparse was sufficient. I'd readily go back and stay...

The Arietta is well located in the centre of Osaka. The decor of the public areas and the guest rooms is very contemporary. Our guest room was small while the bathroom was unusually large. There was a small refrigerator and a safe in the room. The breakfast buffet is served in the lobby and is good. The hotel is near...

This hotel was quietly tucked away from the mai. Street just a short walk from the subway station. It's very well located in Osaka and surrounded by a lot of good Izakayas. We were warmly welcomed upon arriving and quickly checked in. The beds are certainly firm but still got a good night's sleep. The room wasn't giant but that's...

If you're looking for a luxurious stay, no this is not the hotel for you. But value for money, functional and convenient, this is it. It is just walking distance away from the subway station. The room is quite crammed, but so is most of the other hotels in Japan, unless you stay in a more upmarket hotel. Overall, staff...

Very accessible to the subway and theres a bar, coffee shop & family mart within the vicinity. The best part is that check out is 12 noon! The only downside is that we have requested for a non smoking room but our room is on the 5th floor which is just right above the smoking (4th floor). We can still...

The service seemed a little stiff. The roobms and bathrooms felt cleaner than some same range hotels at which we stayed. Washer/dryer on one of the floors is convenient. Buffet breakfast in lobby in morning for guests. Great location for walking through Osaka.

This smallish "boutique" hotel had a nice friendly feel and was well enough located in walking distance of subway and interesting areas. We enjoyed the informal breakfast in the lobby. Of course the room, like most Japanese hotels, was designed with no storage space or room to unpack clothes. Otherwise very pleasant. And for a good hotel in a city...
