The hotel is very conveniently located very close to shops, train and metro station. They separate smoking and non-smoking rooms on different floors. You sometimes do smell some smoke in the lift, especially with smokers who just finished smoking in their room.

We stayed in a triple twin bed room. The 3rd bed seems to be a temporary add-in extra and not a permanent fixture from the way it was placed in the room. There are 2 building structural truss intruding our the room and making the built-in table less usable.

I had been told prior to travelling that 3 adults in the 1 hotel room was going to be a squeeze in Japanese hotels, however we were pleasantly surprised at the amount of space we had with 3 goodsized beds. Admittedly smaller than western hotels but i have no complaints, just need to be creative with suitcase storage. Beds comfortable but pillows a bit hard. Bathroom small but functional, toilet, sink and bath with overhead shower. Toiletries supplied. Tea facilities available but byo coffee. Staff very helpful. Only negative i could think of was we could hear light train noise but that didn’t affect our sleep. Buffet breakfast worth considering purchasing with reservation at it is dearer at restaurant. Close the railways station. Highly recommend and will return when next travelling to Osaka.

The Hearton is in a great position for the Main Station and vast underground subways and underground walkways of Osaka.

It’s pretty basic on Japan standards, there was no safe, the rooms and double beds are very small. Tricky to open two medium cases at the same time. Very clean.

All over Japan we could get a coffee in our hotels, but not this one. There is a vending machine with cold drinks and ice on all floors.

The receptionists were very helpful with maps etc, his statement was you will get lost and he was quite right lol 😂

Although next to the main railway track, it was only a bit noisy, no outlook at all.
We faced a school room, they could see in!

If you want a 1 or 2 night stopover it’s ok, but we were disappointed, if your budget can be stretched further, please do so.

Ideal location hotel. In quiet area. Seems like a business district but felt safe. Walkable distance to train station which is handy for getting around. Rooms compact which I expected but with comfy beds and so clean. You can pick up extra toiletries in hotel lobby like toothbrush, hair brush etc. We had breakfast as part of our package. Some western food and lots of Japanese to try. I would recommend

Stayed one night at this hotel and left for Kyoto the next morning. Only realised that night that I didnt have my headphone with me and asked my Kyoto hotel to call Hearton. Luckily they found it and said that i could either pick it up at hotel or have it sent to me by courier at a fee. I chose the latter. Imagine my surprise when the reception told me that Hearton had arranged a staff to deliver the headphone and they didnt even charge me. I know Osaka to Kyoto is not that far but this type of service is just above and beyond call of duty.

Thank you Hearton Hotel again for finding and delivering my beloved headphone.

Stayed in this hotel from 15 May to 21 May 2024. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I have to cut my trip short. The MOD on duty at night was kind and understanding of my situation, and I had a full refund of my 6 nights and only paid for 3 nights. I noticed that both hotels I stayed, 1) Tokyo and 2) Osaka, their breakfasts didn't change at all. So, if you imagine guests staying for longer nights, it is not worth getting breakfasts included in the hotels. Hotel view was great, there is 2 view of the rooms. 1) View facing train tracks, it is indeed noisy if you are a light sleeper and 2) View facing the city, is it amazing. Location was walkable distance from Osaka station and Umeda Station. It is very convenient from the hotel to the stations, and if flying back from Kansai airport, the journey is only 1 hour taking the Haruka Train. There are also tons of shopping mall within and around Osaka station. I will sure be staying in the hotel again.

The hotel is in a great location, it is in a really quiet area. It also really close to the train and metro stations, making it a great base for travelling around Osaka and beyond.

The hotel room was compact but it is expected when in a Japanese hotel. I had everything I required for my stay including toiletries and pyjamas. The fridge and Kettle were a great addition to the room, The view from the window was lovely looking out to the surrounding skyscrapers. The seventh floor was really quiet even with a busy road below. The bathroom was clean and compact but had everything I needed including a bath tub. Staff in the hotel went above and beyond during my stay.

Storage space is the main thing this hotel lacks, if you are travelling with an overnight bag it isn't too bad. But with a suitcase, space gets very limited. I also found the lack of space to hang clothes strange but I guess many guests only stay for a single night.

Unfortunately there aren't enough characters on trip advisor to review this hotel fully, so if you would like to know more about the hotel and Japan please feel free to visit my blog.

Nice hotel in a peaceful area but best location for tourists in Osaka . Osaka station , Shin Osaka station , airport limousine bus point are nearby . Hotel room is quite large and very comfortable with all amenities. Spacious bathroom . We could take breakfast one day only out of our 3 nights stay (due to travel timing ) and found large delicious spread and freshly baked croissants. This is very suitable hotel as I felt as travellers perspective. Hotel staff were always helpful and courteous.

The room is extremely small. The double bed is so small. The reception is not helpfull. I requested to change the room to twin bed they asked for additional 6000 yen. This is the oldest hotel we stay during our Japan trip. Not recomended. We can get much better hotel with the same rate.

We stayed here past 2 nights here while on 12 day tour of Japan. Rooms and bed were clean and comfortable. Not too small. Breakfast has many choices and the food quality was excellent. The staff were courteous and friendly, always willing to assist. I recommend this hotel.

I'm not sure about this, but it is within a short walking distance from Osaka's main rail station, which we used to take off to Hiroshima and Miyajima on a day trip via the Shinkansen "Bullet" Train. We had arranged a guide though for those venues. Because of the close proximity of Shin-Osaka station - an absolute transport hub - I imagine accessing day tour pick ups at the hotel would not be a problem. The hotel will certainly provide guidance on this matter

When I booked a tour to Kyoto, the pick up was at a hotel in the train station. I was more central. You'll have to ask the Mt Fuji tour vendor where they will pick up from.

You can get Airport Bus from KANSAI Airport ground floor (Arrival Floor) to OSAKA Station directly. This is most easy choice and economy price. Bus will be departed every 20 min. except late night. This hotel is just beside of Osaka Station. so that you can take JR line to got o Shin-Osaka Station. only one stop from Osaka station. But local people not to use Shinkansen between Shin Osaka to Kyoto. Because too short to use super express. and price is almost double. You can take JR Kyoto Line from OSAKA Station. This is local line but only 30 min. to Kyoto directly.

Look for Hearton Hotel Nishi Umeda on Google maps. Up and to the right of the hotel you will see mont-bell ALBi Osaka Station shop. Bring that to the centre of the map, and zoom in. At the bottom left of the station, Sakurabashi Exit / Entrance will appear after 3 or 4 zooms. That is your exit. If it is not too late at night, there will be a walkway/shortcut to the hotel. Eki Bacon is near the entrance to the walkway. At the other end, you will see almost straight ahead Hearton Hotel looming, about 40m away. If the walkway is shut, you will have to follow the street to the left, then first right, then first right again. Look up and you will see the Hearton sign lit up. Then first left and you will be at the entrance. Good luck.
