It locates right next to Kyoto Station (but the path is a little bit inconvenient) so it is perfect for families. My booking includes breakfast which offers a number of choices for select, no matter in Japanese style or Western style. The room is neat and tidy, but relatively small probably because it is a twin room, and it is...

I only stayed here for one night but the zen suite was great! It was very large, clean, well appointed, great japanese garden outside the window (you can't go outside thou). The price of the room was reasonable and the breakfast here was good as it had alot of options for either western or japanese breakfast. The location is great...

Stayed two nights while visiting Kyoto. Very friendly staffs (most of them speaks English), super great location (right front of Kyoto station), has convenience store right next to the hotel as well as Avanti department store next to hotel. Room was somewhat smaller than expected but manageable. Didn't have any issues with noises. Excellent breakfast. Both western & Japanese food...

It wasn't so much the size of the room - we only need to sleep, after all, but the lack of storage space - no cupboards or drawers and the hanging space was just that, rather than a traditional wardrobe with a door. I also had a minor issue with my pillows - I found some spare pillows above the...

Stayed here with my wife for 2 nights. Would definitely recommend paying the extra to be on the superior (top) floor. The room is very spacious by Japanese standards & very modern. The shower especially is super modern and fun to use. The while space is beautifully appointed and has a good size TV. Location is great being right across...

Hotel is in a good location, directly across from the shinkansen (high-speed train) tracks. The rooms are small, we were in a 3-bed room and had almost no space left around the beds. Bathroom feels like an airplane bathroom, all plastic. With the nearby construction and trains it was a bit noisy at night (which bothered me but not my...

Small rooms, but that is common in Japan. The location is great, right next to the train station which allows you to reach all major sightseeing spots easily. It's clean and staff was friendly, great value for the money.

Very small double room with few amenities and very noisy from the street and other rooms. We were unable to sleep all night due to this noise and extremely noisy air conditioning unit. We were moved much higher and the noise was less from outside at least. The hotel room was rather dingy and we had to use the table...

Rooms were neat. The Price was good value. There is a great Izakaya on the Floor below the Hotel Reception. There is a 7/11 Store at the front door. The Building next door is a Japanese Style Shopping Centre /100 Yen Store. AND It is within walking distance of Kyoto's main historical sites (other side of Train Station).

We stayed there for a period of 4 days in Dec for our family trip. Staying in Southern Kyoto

Neighbourhood Profile
Southern Kyoto
Southern Kyoto has a reserved air. Though the Fushimi Inari Shrine is one of Kyoto's major tourist attractions, the surrounding nature, parks, gardens, temples, and shrines provide less-visited spaces for strolling and reflection. The Fushimi Inari Shrine itself is made up of 32,000 sub-shrines, and the mountain they are dotted across beckons hikers, picnickers, and lovers of the outdoors. Many of the mountain's off-set paths aren't frequented by tourists, and the mountain's serenity can be enjoyed at a leisurely pace. Southern Kyoto is the place to enjoy being outside, and to pay your respects to the ancient architecture and gods of the land that are celebrated here.
