The hotel was very nice and clean. The room was spacious, clean, and had all the needed amenities. The staff were very friendly and professional, and the front counter staff were perfectly able to handle guests in English. If you first time to go kyoto. Want to experience traditional Japaness hospitality moderate budget ( around 15000 yen person except sakura season. This one is very good choice. This hotel is not targeting overseas travelers, or TripAdvisor plaudits (no offence to this website hosts), which gives it its charm. However, was a great alternative experience. This is a large Japanese style hotel. It should definitely be considered a budget hotel in Kyoto. It has a nice large public bath. There is also a large lobby with WiFi, no WiFi in the rooms.
