I've stayed in this hotel twice, and I have to say it's one of my favorites. The rooms that I've gotten have been quite large for Japan, with room for couches or at least a little sitting area. It's a cute place, very fancy-feeling, and the staff have always been incredibly helpful. The breakfast buffet is mentioned for obvious reasons...

Thank you very much for staying Hotel Piena Kobe Hotel Piena Kobe’s breakfast is no1 in Japan which is very popular with women because it has many kinds of cakes at breakfast. Also vegetables made in Kobe is served at breakfast. It is convenient because it is near the place and the station of sightseeing from our hotel. I would...

I don't agree with this 4.5 star rating. Don't be fooled by the fancy looking lobby and restaurant. The guest room is small (to be expected in japan) and very old. After returning from dinner our room was extremely hot and could not be cooled by the air conditioning unit. We called the front desk to notify them and someone...

Most reviewers mention the breakfast with good reason - it is a huge buffet with a cakes table capable of causing immediate diabetic comas. The rooms are also a decent size for Japan, and we were very comfortable in a King bed. We walked to the main attractions, but the hotel is conveniently located for public transport.

A lovely hotel. Larger rooms than many. French blue and white decor. Helpful friendly staff. Our a/c did not work. Staff came to room with dyson fan and air purifier. Thankfully cool outside and opening the window worked, so I did not complain further about the a/c. Immaculate clean. All amenities. I highly recommend and would stay again. --- coffee...

Walked downhill from Shin-Kobe station (make sure you print off their directions) and arrived at this sweets smelling polished hotel. Another 20 min walk to European houses and the Trick Art Museum and to the Sannomiya train station in the other direction where we took a bus to Arima Onsen. The buffet was fantastic because besides the sweets there are...

Paid under USD$100 per night which is a bargain. Hotel is just a few minutes walk from Kitano and from the awesome Kobe beef restaurants Wakkoqu and Ishida...about a ten minute walk to both. I also WALKED to Shin-Kobe Station from the hotel in about 20 minutes...an easy walk. Service was great but location and value the key takeaways,. Room...

This hotel was really perfect, the staff was extremely helpful, the room was big clean and well decorated. We traveled with a baby and they were kind enough to add a bed without adding a charge. The breakfast is really HUGE and everything they serve is extremely good with a lot of diversity: pastries, Japanese traditional, cakes... You have to...

Good place to stay, a couple of good small restaurants and cafes are close by. Shin-Kobe station and downtown are within easy walking-distance. You won't remember much about this hotel but maybe the super friendly staff.

The hotel Piena Kobe is well situated for the main attractions and public transport. It is well decorated and although the rooms are small, they are very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is good but a bit expensive unless you have an enormous appetite. The foyer houses an excellent bakery/coffee shop. My only complaint was the shoddy service we received...
