We were in Sapporo in September and really didn't know how busy the are would be, and because we didn't know if we wanted to stay there for long, we didn't book all of our accommodation in advance. Basically we stayed here because there was hardly anywhere else to go. It is not a horrible place but I don't think...

Very classy hotel with excellent service from every staff member, and without any outside noise allowing total privacy, as this is a quality that we look for in a hotel. We would definetly stay at the Chisun again when visiting the lovely city of Sapporo. Don't miss the tour and food at the Sapporo Brewery!!!!!!

Originally planned a 2-nite stay, either consecutive or not, at this Chisun Grand. However, I was told no room was available on the second night. So I was forced to change my plan. From a visitor's point of view, this hotel is not situated at the most busiest and convenient central district in Sapporo. Well, but are stores nearby which...

Sapporo Chisun Grand Hotel's room was very spacious unlike some Japanese hotels which can be rather claustrophobic. While it might not be in the city's central like the JR Sapporo Station area, the hotel is a short distance from Susukino Subway Station and being located at Susukino, there is no shortage for food and night activities around the area. Furthermore,...

I stayed in a superior room on the 10th floor for 3 nights. Very spacious and a lovely looking bathroom. but like others have written before, it really could use a good clean. The shower needed a good scrub and I was able to remove mildew with one of their complimentary toothbrushes. Internet is free in some rooms but not...

I am in Sapporo for about two months for work. I have the choice of living in a shared apartment. However, I spend most of my time on the 11th floor of Chisun Grand. The room is spectacular and spacious with a great view of Sapporo City. This hotel is basically my home away from home. When I walk into...

The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It is conveniently located near two subway stations and near Susukino, which is always a happening place for food n shopping. My only complaint is that there was no free internet, unlike some business hotels in the same area.

Upon arrival we were a little put off by the rooms, I had to try several rooms before settling on one that didn't stink of stale tobacco smoke, all these rooms were non smoking, although this didn't look like it was enforced with ashtrays in the rooms. Decor was a little 90's and whilst maintained, looked tired. The room itself...

Great location, a quick walk from the shopping areas of Sapporo and close enough to Odori Park if you are going for the snow festival. The staff were super friendly and courteous (but when was the last time you encountered poor service in Japan??) The room was pretty average. Our bathtub was large, great for long soaks, but the floor...
