Located in the city centre close to the subway and a y700 trip by taxi from the train station. Hotel rooms look fairly new. Quite small but shower and Japanese style half bath is fine. Bed is a standard double. Optional beast buffet for y1100 offered. Free wifi. Local TV channels with option to purchase a movie card for y1000... More

The Watermark Hotel Sapporo on Tanukikoji Shopping Street was a very pleasant surprise. Getting there is convenient. Taking the Namboku subway line two stops from Sapporo Station to Susukino Station is an option, but walking instead either above or below ground has its own rewards, and the walk straight there isn't much longer than the total time spent in taking... We stayed there for 2 nights. First impression was the hotel looked quite new and modern. I was very surprised that room is quite spacious too. Not to mention it was located at the tanukikoji street and very near to odori park too! It was very convenient since some of the shops in tanukikoji open for 24 hour, therefore it... More

This was the most value for money hotel. It was located along the shopping alley. Would definitely have helped if the website told us how to get to the nearest subway station. Apparently there was an underground link as mentioned by other reviewers but we weren't aware on our first day and had to walk quite a distance above ground... More

That was very rare to be noticed but in that price range the room was very spacious. The room was also clean and very modern so well worth it. In addition the location near Susukino and Odari Park is perfect so if you want to stay in this area you can book their eyes closed.

Took me a while to find this hotel so one must really becareful on how to find it. If you are coming from the Sapporo Train station & decide to walk - please ensure you get a copy of the map of the city from the Tourist Information Centre towards the south entrance. Walk straight for 25 mins or so... More

Perfectly adequate hotel, in great, central location, with Susukino and Odori Park within easy walking distance. Breakfasts were nice, and for dinner, we either went to the summer beer festival in nearby Odori Park or Negra Pantera, a few doors from the hotel, which is a supercool bar that's open all night. Hotel has two exits, one onto the main... More

This hotel is located in the middle of everything you can imagine. We stayed for 5 nights (April 2015) and had plenty of room for our 2 large hard-shell suitcases. As mentioned it is connected directly to the Tanuki-Koji street (famous shopping alley). Rooms were very clean and the staff was very professional and helpful. I speak Japanese so communication... We stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed it thoroughly. It is located very close to the Susukino train station (3-4 minute walk) plus it connects directly with Tanuki koji street (the famous shopping strip in Sapporo). Rooms were very clean, great size and the shower water pressure was excellent. Definitely would recommend for other travellers.
