I was dropped off at the road by a taxi driver who most likely had not taken a fare here before. I had a 3/4 of a mile walk back to the hotel. Once I saw the front of the building I knew I was in the right place. The staff was very attentive not everyone spoke English but, they...

Stayed at this hotel for a weekend and quite liked it. The room was well appointed with a nice balcony. Breakfast buffet is good. Just don't expect western chain luxury hotel perfection. The staff speaks very little English, but more than makes up with charm and friendly effort to get things done for you. There was confusion over my reservation...

This hotel was a nice find outside the dense traffic and people around West Lake. Nice secluded property where you can launch from each do to walk the adjacent trails to the Dragon's Well or hop a cab to West Lake. The talking parrot was also fun to sit and watch/listen to as he welcomed everyone in Chinese. The restaurant...

This hotel really does seem to be aimed at the domestic market. Found very few English speaking staff, and we definitely seemed to be the only Westerners at breakfast. Offerings at breakfast were quite limited if you didn't want Chinese food and possibly some of the worst coffee I've ever tasted. Didn't fare much better for dinner, as vegetarians there...

Restaurant have changed the menu totally to now have one with totally non understandable English and most of the local dishes are gone, bad, I liked the old menu, hope it returns. The breakfast is...

The hotel offers good quality services and convenient and comfortable accommodations. The hotel location will require taxi or an...

It's been the second time I've stayed here. The hotel is located at the very inside of a little village, against a mountain. Some people complain it's difficult to find, but I don't think it's that hard. The hotel room is decorated very comfortably with a Chinese touch here and there. I especially like the balcony facing the mountain side....

Located on a lush hillside, just a few minutes drive from the beautiful West Lake, this hotel offers travelers an opportunity to escape the fast pace and noise that is so typical of Chinese cities. The setting is beautiful, hidden among hills of tea and thick forests. The hotel is clean and reasonably well maintained. Rooms are nicely furnished in...
