The furnishing was in a good condition and the cleaning was actually much than the average for Chinese hotels. Excellent value- room was spacious with a little sitting area. There was a sofa with a table and a plate with apples and small tomatoes that was filled each day. There were different loose teas and beautiful tea pot and cups... More

Great hotel, large spacious rooms and excellent attention to detail. Friendly and helpful staff and lots of little extras like fruit in the room. Probably the best hotel we stayed at in 4 weeks travelling round China & Hong Kong.

I have stayed in Tea Boutique Hotel for few nights for my recent biz trip in Hangzhou and had an amazing experience there! The is close to Huang Long Stadium and within walking distance to the West Lake(well, it is not right next to the lake but the way from the hotel to the lake is quite pleasant for walking,... More

The hotel was just 20 minutes away from the General Yue temple by taxi. Not too close to the noisy areas and it is a relaxing hotel for the travellers to relax and chill out after a long day of sightseeing. Decor is simple yet classic. Hotel provides a litre of spring water from the nearby spring. Really loved the... More

We have been there for only night (saturday-sunday), but we got a very nice and quiet room (ask for a room to the north, the street is quite busy). the staff is very nice and helpful. the only thing was the sockets which didn't work very well to charge smartphones. It's greatly connected to public transport (buses) and also to... More

Tea is in great spot with Japanese theme. Restaurant great at night but appalling for breakfast. Hotel dark with overkill on Japanese then and wi fi beyond bad which killed it for me. Great concept but needs a spark. If you are boutique it needs to be spot on or better of in large five stars near by

On the positive side, the room was comfortable and spacious and the staff were very nice. The hotel is near the Baochu Pagoda and you could easily take a bus to Linyin Temple, which is a must see, amazing place. On the negative side, the breakfast was blah with very few options for vegetarians, not the spread we have experienced... More

This hotel has a really stylish look with lots of raw wood, nice lighting, plants in the hallways and great beds.. BUT be prepared to be woken up at 7am with the sounds of hammers and crashing glass from the construction site immediately behind the hotel. It seems the work is just beginning--it's basically still a shell of a building.... More

Stayed one night in the newer location of Tea Boutique Hotel in Hangzhou and could not be more impressed. First, we arrived by taxi and were dismayed to find we had been driven to the wrong location. Our reservations were for the newer location of the hotel on the northwest side of Westlake. The manager, Mr. Jerrod, not only immediately... More

It is already our family tradition to stay in Tea hotel. This place has its great qualities (few flaws too, but definitely doesn't deasearve a rating below average). The best feature is the bed. One of the best beds I ever slept in. The decor is beautiful and very calming. I appreciate the complimentary tea and tiger spring water. The... More
