I was thrilled to enter a huge room with a high ceiling and closet that functions as a dressing room. The bed was a full-sizer and comfortable (meaning not hard or stiff) and the bathroom was large in size as well. One thing I wasn't crazy about was the breakfast buffet but I suppose it's because I was spoiled while staying at a Beijing hotel. The hotel location is nice as it's behind a pedestrian mall with lots of shops, displays and eateries.
There was an issue with the heating in the room and it was addressed during a morning. By the time we got back to the room it was adjusted to our liking.

We had a marvelous stay at the Wyndham Grand. The location nearby the Walking Street offers a great view and rooms were in perfect shape. Special thanks to the staff for being extremely family friendly. Big compliments to chef Singh! The restaurant was excellent and the staff was very hospitable.

I travel in China quite a bit for work. This hotel is pretty top notch (unless you're used to Ritz Carltons... but still this was great!). The breakfast was very good also. They get bonus points for attentiveness. The first night we stayed even though we had a non-smoking room, there were other folks down the hall that smoked (against policy). It infiltrated our room and caused some breathing irritation to some family members. We told the front desk and they promptly moved us to a different floor and Bella followed up several times to make sure everything was fine. Also, hotel location was great too because of the nice shopping center "Everbrite" city right next to it. The gym/pool was a very nice, but I wish a little closer to the rooms (it was a good 8 min walk), but hey part of the workout. I would go back.

I booked my trip to Xi’an through a third party service for tour guide and driver. The hotel accommodation the service recommended however, was by far one of the highlights from the entire trip. Alva, Kiko, Tracy, and their team were delightful and provided one of the best hotel experience during my time in China. We arrived and received a free room upgrade from a Deluxe Room to a Super Deluxe Room that turned out to be the Cozy Family Suite which overlooked the main square. At the front desk reception was cordial, friendly, and helpful and even offered free coffee as we checked in. Coming back to the hotel later that night we received a free gift, a small Terracotta warrior which I will treasure as a wonderful reminder of my stay here. The cozy parlor of the suite would have been best for a family after a long day out to unwind, but my partner and I still had a splendid time watching movies in English and the staff were able to bring up food ordered from down the street. The bath and rain head shower were luxuriant before sleeping on the cloud like bed for the night.
The next day we went for the buffet breakfast at Tang, where chef Mukesh Singh warmly made sure we were satisfied with the options available, to which we were beyond thrilled to see both Westen and local options present.
The saddest part of the trip was only being able to spend on night in this beautiful hotel, which if I ever come back to Xi’An I would absolutely stay at again.

We visited this hotel in March 2019. The hotel was stunning. I have been meaning to write this review for a year but only just had time due to the lock down. In all my travelling around the world never have I experienced such hospitality. This hotel is beautiful but the staff are outstanding. One day I hope to take my children so that they can experience the delights of the festival of light. The chef Mukesh Singh made the most delicious eggs benedict and even took time out of his busy schedule to talk to us. On our tour of china we visited Hong Kong, shanghai and Beijing as well as xian. Xian was most definitely the best. The staff here were amazing and the bell boy waited for our taxi to arrive and spent the whole time chatting with us. I loved this hotel so much, one day I hope to go back!

This is the place to see the fantastic light show, just out side this hotel. If you don’t want the noise of the people outside, don’t forget to ask for a quieter room, it doesn’t go on too late though. The hotel rooms are huge with two big beds, walk in wardrobe that houses the safe. Television, mini fridge and desk and all the usual amenities that you would expect from a hotel of this standing. Meals in the restaurant- Plenty of choice, something for everyone, could be a bit hotter

Stayed at the Wyndham Grand Residence over the QingMing holiday and really enjoyed the proximity to the local attraction
Service is good and breakfast buffet is busy but good w various local and international options.
Mukesh Singh was very attentive in tbe busy buffet life for the world famous “roe-Jia-Mo” ie the Chinese Hamburger or perhaps the pulled pork sandwich 😄
Service is attentive and many staff speak good English including an elderly gentleman with a big black hat 🎩 who greeted us at the arrival and was very kind w his assistance.

We toured some cities in China between 19 October and 02 November 2024. We stayed at Wyndham Grand Xian South in Xian between 24 October and 27 October, This was one of the best places we stayed at during our Chinese trip.The rooms were very comfortable and the food at the hotel restaurant was above par.There was a lot of of choice (Chinese, European, etc)for the breakfast menu.The hotel also had a very good buffet menu and this was very popular with the guests on account of the choice, food standard and price.We met Mukesh Singh, an Indian chef from Shimla, who spoke English, Hindi and .. Chinese. Mukesh Singh was very helpful in guiding us through the long menu list and he went the extra mile to ensure that we enjoyed what the restaurant had to offer. If you ever visit this hotel and restaurant, please look out for Mukesh Singh and , although he is very busy, Mukesh always finds the time to assist hotel guests.Mukesh is an asset to the hotel …!!!

A hotel is what its staff is making it ... and I can say that this hotel goes above and beyond for their guests. Even before coming in Xi'an, I emailed the hotel to ask for help to book tickets for a show for my daughter's birthday. Lily , Eden,Leo and Kiko helped me not only to book tickets but they also upgraded us to an amazing king 2-storey suite because of my daughter's birthday ( WOW, what an amazing room). All the staff is always smiley, helpful, kind. On the actual day of my daughter's birthday we entered a room full of decorations, an amazing cake and a gift! We are so touched by their kindness. Breakfast is the best I had , and I had plenty all over the world. Whatever your heart ( andcstomach) desires you will find it here. The hotel is grand, very clean and at the same time very welcoming. Very close to everbright city and the Pagoda. It is very easy to Didi to the town centre. The rooms are pretty good, the hotel is large enough to roam around. All the staff members are very helpful, especially Kaichuang Xie and Chef Mukesh Singh. As I am a Vegetarian, the Indian Chef guided me and helped me to go through the menu, and also arranged some Indian food for us. Mr. Xie helped us to arrange a taxi hotel to Airport. As we were not sure whether a normal taxi can accommodate 3 people with luggages, he communicated with various taxi drivers on our behalf. Overall, the experience was very good and new.

We had dinner and breakfast at the Hotel's Tang Cafe - where you can order either a-la-carte or go for the buffet. This is a very large cafe/restaurant and there is a nice photo of how big this restaurant is at the Wyndham Grand Xian South website. I am quite sure that this restaurant is large enough for big families or groups.
The Hotel also have a Cantonese restaurant called: Yan Ming Xuan. We did not try this restaurant because it looked too "fancy" (expensive) for my liking - but looks very nice.
FYI - This hotel is connected to a large convention center, so I sure the restaurants that are here can accommodate large families/groups.
Dear guest, we collect items before 11:00 and return them before 19:00 on the same day. We also offer (4 hours) Express Service, which charges 50% more than Regular Service, and the items are returned no later than 16:00 on the same day. The cost starts from RMB 10 per unit depending on the item types.
