Traveled with friends and we had two different room types. My 5 year old daughter and I stayed in a basic room with 2 double beds. My friends stayed in a larger room with two queen size beds and a sitting area. The beds were hard and the room a bit noisy, but we had a view of both the...

We liked this hotel. Our rooms were not bad at all, and location could hardly be better. We had rooms facing the square, good view, and not noisy in spite of the square being rather busy. Have no problems in recommending it to others, and I'm really surprised to read that so many people have dlsliked it. We never dared...

I recently spent six weeks in Asia and this was the WORST hotel experience I had the entire time - and I had stayed in many budget accomodations which were fantastic. The staff were the worst staff I encountered and did not seem to care about the people staying in their hotel at all. I needed to use the internet...

having stayed here nearly 10 times, I have to say that this hotel has a lot of potential, but due to large group tours consisting of the vast bult of the clients, the managemnet has failed to update the services on offer. The breakfast is horrible, and the rooms look very old and dated (hotel opened in 2001?). Staff penny...

This would have to be the worst hotel i have ever stayed in in China. The rooms stunk of damp, the carpets are filthy and the staff are rude and disinterested. I asked if I could use the internet and they said "no internet" i said "come here, what's that?" they said "internet computer"! I then asked for the manager...

The room was clean & housekeeping staff helpful when we didn't know how to use the TV remote control. Some improvement can be made to the filthy carpets & face towels which looked more like table wipes. Breakfast was limited in quantity & variety - only allowed 1 hard boiled egg each & charged 5 yuan for a glass of...

This was my second visit to this hotel with a school group. Again we were the only Westerners there. It's certainly more shabby that our last visit with wallpaper loose from the walls. But the beds and bathroom were clean and when you are out all day a long hot shower is most welcome. There was always plenty of hot...

This was a nice clean hotel in the centre of the city at a reasonable price. The rooms were ok, nothing fancy and maybe a little dated but clean which is the most important. We had breakfast here and it was fine - they had a mix of both chinese and western breakfast foods.

I stayed at this hotel as part of a tour group so our tour leader dealt with all the hotel staff and issues on that front so I can only comment on the room and the location. The location is really good. There are street markets, arcades, restaurants (western and Chinese style), starbucks, Muslim quarter, and wal-mart all within walking...
