The rooms are basic and the breakfast buffet is reasonable. The reception and restaurant staff have little or no English. We ordered a simple cheese and tomato sandwich and we ended up with a toasted salad sandwich with fries!Reception staff not very warm Excellent wifi throughout the hotel

Great Value. The room was very spacious. Although the furnishing is bit dated. Overall the room is clean. We tried the breakfast buffet. It is bit expensive as compare to other hotel of the same class. However the food selection is good. We also had dinner at the restaurant right off the lobby, because we did not feel brave enough... The traffic is crazy outside. Crossing the road is a hazard and you need to be extra vigilant for the silent electric bikes zipping alongside the pavement. Traffic warning aside, this is a really good hotel. Rooms are large and modern. The meals were very good with a restaurant complex across the road (but watch out for ...... you know).... More

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in September. This hotel clearly caters to tour customers who pass through for 1 or 2 nights. Therefore, the focus is on the room, and breakfast in the lobby restaurant. These things are fine. We received excellent GC diamond status recognition. We were upgraded to a lovely suite. However, the Club Lounge... More

Nice clean tidy hotel, although the bathroom was a little tired. We also were a little disappointed with the breakfast, food not quite so fresh at times. Staff needed a bit of a rocket..... Apart from this the hotel itself was friendly.

I would say an average hotel. Although they say its a 5 star, i dont think it feels like one. Pretty average hotel, nothing that stands out spectacularly. However given the cost, i would say its just an OK one.

Part of the Shangri La chain and as such you can expect a fine place. Great lobby, fantastic buffet breakfast, nice bar, excellent Chinese Restaurant with fabulous service, and large, clean comfortable rooms.

Shangri La, we have a huge room with 2 double beds in it, then an alcove with 2 easy chairs in it, with a cupboard to hold the tv, and a nice desk for this computer. Stacks of lighting, almost the best we have ever had in a hotel. The bathroom is also big but it is here that the... More

Stayed here on a Wendy Wu tour and were told this was no longer a Shangri-La brand hotel. Despite this we were very satisfied. Yes the room carpet was a little lumpy probably as a result of too many wet cleans but at least it was clean. Had a sitting room with dining table and a kitchen with fridge freezer.... More
