The hotel locates in a very good location, it's only 2 minutes walk to visit the big goose Pagoda and New China Town walking street. The reception staff are friendly and knowledgeable, they gave very sound suggestions during our stay. I will bring my family to visit this hotel again very soon

Westin is always on my top list when I travel to Xian. Not to mentioned about the beauty of the hotel. The service standard is always above than other property. Stacy with entire team Kitty Yilia Gaia Chole CoCo Rain are very helpful on all my need! Stacy is always helping me to arrange all my business schedule and Carol in the concierge with his team are all very friendly. These are the reasons I always stay here even there are many new hotels open in the past few year. Most of time I select the hotel are not base on how new the property. I select the hotel that can make me feel like I am part of the family. Specially I spend more than 150 nights per year on the business trip. Stacy can even remember what I like to drink in the breakfast and afternoon. Which this is the main reason I like to stay here Once again thanks very much 我非常推薦西安威斯汀大酒店,整體行政酒廊的服務非常好,並且行政酒廊經理Stacy 也非常的專業,這也是我會經常入住這裡的最大原因

First, location is great. My room (was upgraded according to my status) had a view of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and at night, the entire area is illuminated, with thousands of people on the street and plenty of food options. Wifi in Westin was fast, the lounge (same great view) breakfast and happy hour had descent selection and I indulged in the Japanese restaurant's all you can eat sushi one evening. Concierge (Ray) was a great help, showing me where to get Covid test, and booking a terracotta warrior tour for me. Hassle free and would always come back!

Subpar experience at Westin. Checked in yesterday and the hotel vibes after a few minutes were already those of a factory hotel: high occupancy due to the location (that is indeed great) so guests are all numbers. I did get an upgrade, but compared to any other hotel in China we stayed in the past 12 months there was small appreciation of the status.
It is true that I had high expectations due to the reviews here, my Titanium status and my stay in other 2 hotels in Xi’an in the past week but I was really hope to enjoy my last 2 days in the city.
One bedroom suite is very large but it’s quite dark, has basically no view and it really shows its ages (see pictures).
Breakfast is average and well below the level of other similarly priced hotels in Xi’an (Hualuxe next door, Gran Melia, etc) . Staff, aside from the man making noodles that is very polite, is either not trained or super rude (e.g. the two men at the eggs and omelette station). In the other hotels they came to warn guests that breakfast will finish in 10-15min; here the buffet disappeared right away, replaced but the one for lunch (e.g. all ice for seafood or sausages cooked from 10am when breakfast ends at 10:30, so they had almost no space to make eggs..).

Furniture is placed a bit randomly around the hotel, it really feels like they bought random nice/traditional pieces and put them wherever there was space without planning it (e.g. just go to the restaurant on G floor to see that..)

Covid policies are also way stricter than anywhere else we stayed, both in Shanghai, Xian, Suzhou. They rightfully ask for Health Code and “Arrow code”, in line with government requirement; the problem is that even if you live 5 minutes to go to the 7/11 next door to buy something and come back, they asked again for everything. Please tell me how could my code change in those 3 FIVE minutes of very risky trip to the 7/11 at 50metres from the hotel. There are rules and they have to be followed, but a little bit of common sense wouldn’t hurt…

It goes without saying that when we come back we will likely stay again at the Hualuxe hotel 2min walk from Westin or the Gran Melia (where I don’t even have a status) as much more relaxing and way better service.

Only the location is something I would applaud them on. Otherwise you are in for a 2 star experience, 1 star breakfast, 0 star service. It is recovering from service disruption due to covid 19 like all other hotels. And instead of trying to make it more pleasing, to attract business, Westin decided to turn it into super terrible experience as no one from their HQ could travel to inspect or see how they are wasting away the brand , washing it down the drain. The breakfast is artificial juice, plastic bacon, no coffee service. They improved it on our last day after shouting and complaining , probly because one nice lady thought of listening. WiFi never worked even after chasing them everyday. Later with lots of complaints, some manager thought of tempting us with an upgrade, the usual bribe, which we turned down. Anyways we all learn from experience and I would suggest avoid at all costs

This hotel is in front of the Pagoda which is one of the main landmarks of the city. Is also close to several restaurants and touristic places. But it’s worth mentioning that it’s fairly far from the subway station. The overall decor and ambiance were modern and sophisticated. The room was beautifully decorated and clean. We had dinner in the Japanese restaurant twice and it was really fresh. The crab was memorable. The Starbucks of the hotel on the other hand was understaffed and served us a warm sandwich that was frozen inside. The receptionists are courteous and helpful.

This hotel is located in the heart of the shopping and tourist belt of Xi'an. It is literally a stones throw from the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a major tourist attraction.

The rooms are spacious and the facilities are generally well maintained. The gym is fairly well equipped. There is also an indoor pool with an attached sauna and bathroom.

The biggest selling point must be the location. It is located right in the middle of the shopping and eating belt. You will find tons and tons of people walking in the nearby areas even late at night. There is a mega mall with major brands as well as other individual shops around the area.

You can get by easily with taxis. If you prefer to catch the subway, the nearest station is about 1 kilometer away.

We enjoyed good Westin hospitality, where everyone from the front desk to the chamber meet provided service with a smile.

This time, I chose the Westin Xi 'an Hotel to play with my family. The new Chinese design is located in the excellent geographical location of Datang Night City, which naturally becomes the ideal residence for many people to play in Xi 'an.
But is reality really that good? First, the pros:
Location is located in Datang City. It's easy to walk back to the hotel after a night out. There are Starbucks Reserve store and 7-11 supermarket in the hotel, opposite Joy City, you don't have to worry about eating and shopping. The hotel is facing the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, there are several tower view rooms facing the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, you can avoid the crowds outside to enjoy the Big Wild Goose Pagoda
The design of the new Chinese style is very impressive, the design of the atrium is very online and the hotel's swimming pool and gym facilities are complete.

This time, I came to Xi'an with my family and chose the Westin Xi'an. The new Chinese design and the excellent location in the Tang Dynasty City that never sleeps naturally make it an ideal residence for many people to visit Xi'an.
But is the reality really that good? Let's talk about the advantages first:
The geographical location is in the Tang Dynasty City that never sleeps. You can walk back to the hotel after playing at night, which is very convenient. There is a Starbucks Reserve store and a 7-11 supermarket in the hotel, and there is Joy City opposite, so you don't have to worry about eating and shopping. The hotel is facing the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and there are several tower view rooms facing the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, so you can avoid the crowds outside and enjoy the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
The new Chinese design is very good, and the atrium design is very online. The hotel's swimming pool and gym facilities are very complete.

I was very impressed with my recent stay at this hotel. From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I was captivated by its elegant surroundings. The lobby design is modern and chic, and the light is soft, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The friendly reception staff and quick and efficient check-in made me feel at home.
My room is located on the standard floor of the hotel and is elegantly and pragmatically furnished. The bed is soft and comfortable, so that I can have a good dream every night. The facilities in the room are also very modern, including a smart TV, high-speed Wi-Fi and a spacious bathroom, which added to the convenience of my stay.
The hotel's catering service is also satisfactory. The variety of breakfast, from fresh fruit and bread to hot coffee and tea, satisfies all my breakfast needs, For dinner, I tried the hotel's special

I would highly doubt that all the construction is completed as they were working on a very large mall area. That being said it is still relatively easy to navigate around the construction. This location is very convenient to get to the white goose and to other attraction areas nearby
