This hotel was exactly what we were looking for. The staff speaks english and is very helpfull (and nice). The location could be better but the bus to get into the city center is 100m away and costs 2 yuans. Do not hesitate :)

By Far the Best Hostel I've stayed in in Asia. This hostel has all the right things going for it - location , cool staff and a great cafe. The night we were there they had an all you can eat Chinese barbeque event for 40RMB. The whole hostel basically attended and it was a great way to make friends....

The best part by far was the staff.. They were really friendly and always helpful.. Besides they all can speak perfect english (in china thats quite rare). The beds have heating so they are very warm.. The only bad thing is that the bathrooms are really cold. The common area was always full of people and theres quite cool stuff...

Friendly, helpful, good spoken English. Walking distance to train and bus stations, not central- bus #10 to downtown and "Seven Star" scenic area. Well thought out and equipped hostel in what appears to be a former motel. English and American breakfast available at the cafe/bar/ lounge from 07:00 hr, as well as meals throughout the day. Can arrange small discounts...

Staying here for a night before heading to Yangshuo. The staffs are really friendly & can speak english very well. The location quite close to Swan Hotel if you ride an airport bus from airport to Guilin City (the bus will stop at Swan Hotel). During my stay, they provide heating mat under the blanket and it makes me comfortable...

Our stay here was fantastic. The staff were so friendly and fun. We arrived on dumpling party night, and made our own dumplings for dinner. The girls even organised for me vegetarian dumplings. I would definitely stay here again when returning to Guilin.

I stayed for 3 days in Wada, the location was nice and convenient. The directions provided for getting to the hostel is pretty accurate. The staff were friendly and helpful too. The rooms were quite basic, and the beds does not seem sturdy enough in my dorm of 4. Any movement would seem to wake ur dorm mates up as...

Just to be clear, we didn't stay here but ate here several times and came to them for advice and I wanted to write them a review on that experience. We actually stayed at a hotel in the botanical gardens and came across this hostel when trying to find it. The staff were the warmest we'd found compared to other...

We loved the hostel for its friendly staff. The "Wada Girls" seemed sincerely happy to see us. On our first night there while my husband was playing one of the provided guitars, one of the Wada Girls brought over an older Chinese man with his erhu, a Chinese string instrument, and a teaching lesson resulted that was fun for everyone....

Monica and the other Wada girls are amazing. They helped us with our reservations to the Li river cruise and oriented us on how to go to elephant trunk and other attractions downtown Guilin. I personally would have choose a more close to downtown hotel but the service and helpfulness of the staff is what we appreciated the most. We...
