This hotel looks really modern and big, and impressive, by China standards, for a local hotel. But it ends there. The service is really underwhelming and the food is tasteless. The hardware is great, but the "software" is pretty terrible. The staff are pleasant and try, but I think the management is something else...

This hotel is close to the airport and handy for the university, where I was attending a conference. It is quite a way away from everything else. Unfortunately, for a hotel that supposedly caters for people on business trips etc., the language skills of the staff were pretty poor. Trying to arrange my booking over email was a nightmare, and...

This is a smart, modern hotel that is a little frayed round the edges in places but still very pleasant with charming friendly staff. The breakfasts are a bit odd by Western standards - about a million different dishes and quite expensive, but there are lovely bakeries nearby which are much more reasonable and may be more to Western tastes.

Booked a room through Agoda during the Canton Fair this October, I thought it'd be a place to relax after a day of walking at the fair. The problem started first with the distance, it was much further than they advertise, took about 40 minutes to get there and cost 80rmb. When I got there the front desk took a...

Easeland hotel is very convenient to the west gate of Baiyun mountain. In fact, few taxi drivers know the hotel, so it's better to ask to go the west gate, then walk or direct the extra few hundred meters. It's attached to the academic center, so I guess the hotel is also a training center for students. I'm not sure...

If you use their official website you can book a room which will cost a total of RMB428 per night(including tax and service charge) but when you arrive at the hotel they will tell you this rate is only for IELTS students and try extort an extra RMB40 for each night you have booked . When I booked there was...

I came here for food as one of my friends was staying in the hotel whilst I was visiting China. After ordering our food it took about 40 minutes before anything even came to our table. A family that came in after us where finishing their food whilst we were still waiting for ours. We tried to ask the staff...

This was a stunning alternative to mediocre hotels next to GDUFS when it opened a few years ago. It's well-priced and not too far from the airport and Baiyun Mountain - and nice rooms, especially if you get a garden room with sitting-out area, plus good WiFi connection. But now room carpets are dirtier, corridor mirrors are turning spotty from...

My first visit to this property was about three months after it first opened. It's held up well over the past three years. The swimming pool is still the highlight of the property. I would like to point out to management that it might be time to change the carpets in the rooms. The staff remains warm and welcoming. "May"...

I stayed at this hotel last week, and had a good experience there. -Location: little far away from downtown Guangzhou. Limited dinning options outside hotel. However, it is very close to Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. Since I had to take a test at that university the other day, I find the location to be quite convenient. -Environment: the outdoor...
