fairly walking distance to MRT Station (Yue Xia Station) from hotel, surrounding with old street near hotel with local foods, right opposite there's good chinese restaurant and japan restaurant, only 1 station to GuangZhou Railway Station for shoppings (remember to leave there early to avoid after work traffics) and few stations away to Second Workers station (a.k.a wedding street) to... This hotel is very strange, the lobby is nice, but its more a "service apartment" than a hotel. The hotel's front desk was under staffed and their English and mandarin were both very poor, making it hard to communicate with them. The room was relatively clean, but the bathroom could have been cleaner. It was an okay stay until I... More

The Hotel was alright, we stayed there while visiting the area for work-related business. The location is fine - a brilliant cafe on the opposite side of road. A short walk to get to Starbucks. Decor of Hotel was suprisingly nice for the price we paid. Only problem was our air-con didn't work and the staff ignored us when we... More

We stayed there for the Canton Fair (spring 2012). We booked this hotel because of other reviews from other travellers (especially the review that was saying they were the best beds in China... that review was true and this is one of the main reason why I would be back there... I slept very well)! We enjoyed our stay at... More

We stayed in this hotel in Nov 2012, After we arrived and checked we went to our room and noticed that it seemed a little smaller then the photos on the internet and our kingsize bed was smaller then a queen size, I then approched the reception staff who seemed a angry that i was complaining about the room not... What a pity that in such a chic hotel, the staff never clean the bathroom floor (where people stand to shower). Very dirty. If they brushed it, it would be much cleaner than this. You can see in my picture. Other than that, the room has a very good value. I had a free upgrade so this room is spacious,... More

Stayed here from the 14th-19th. Stayed in the junior suite. The room was filthy. Hair laying everywhere on the floor, couch, bed, dirty sink, cobwebs everywhere and I killed a spider the size of my palm, which ran very very fast. The "suite" was so chopped up, I was very disappointed. The wireless in the lobby was very slow and... More
