Hotel located a few bus stops from Kazan Arena and twenty minutes by bus to main railway station. Check-in and check-out were fast. Rooms was clean and service was friendly and smiling. The only thing that would require improvement was the selection of breakfast dishes.

We were happy with this aged but good value hotel with helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Comfortable rooms. No major problems. Watch out for uneven top step on stairs! A little out of the way but short taxi ride to centre.

My mama taught me not to say anything if you can't say something good. I will bend the rules a wee bit here and acknowledge that the designation of a two star hotel means one should not expect much. The outside facade is new but the rooms remain from days long past. In its favor, the rooms are clean although the mattress will seriously test your ability to tolerate torture. Breakfast is limited and when there are many guests it might be difficult to find a place to sit. When I visited there apparently was a hockey competition with scores of teenage boys roaming the halls. Somehow, however, there was a remarkable absence of noise once you entered your room. Overall not the worst place to visit on a short term basis but probably best to use it as a last resort.

As we hadnt booked anyy hotel in Kazan before arriving we kinda knocked at all the doors and finally found one that had vacancies. Well ... we know why ! The price of a twin room is 2500 roubles, the bathroom is share between 2 rooms, rather clean. The parking space is not included, another 70 roubles, the room has a mini fridge and old furniture, it's like a guesthouse seriously, and i would not have complained at all of i had paid the price it's worth. I mean, it's comfortable enough, but from the outside and the price, you expect much more. The worst is without a doubt the buffet breakfast : a few russian sausages, some soup and rice and tea ... even guesthouses have better breakfasts, thank god it's complimentary, i would have been mad to have paid extra for it ... No need to say we left the next day.
