good big hotel situated on the promenade in Svetlogorsk town. its 1 hour on car to Kaliningrad. room was good and clean. view from room was perfect and also nice balcony. many restaurants close to hotel. nice stay!!
The location of the hotel was perfect. As well, as the internal sauna and pool. The rooms were ok as well. Only the wifi was not working which is not acceptable at all. And the breakfast could have had more choices.
The hotel is clean and very posh. Our room had view on the promenade meters away from the Baltic Sea. The sauna and the pool are included and with reservation you can enjoy this facilities undisturbed. On the down, the hotel is built in a old building and the stairs, doors and furniture might squeak more than usual. Wifi ok, breakfast good and excellent service.
This hotel is really fantastic! I felt here like home! Very good hospitality, nice service, very tasty food, room service 24 hours. Rooms are very spacious, chic, balcony with sea view. At the Summer season it's very difficult to book the room so try to book it earlier.
I stayed here for 2 nights in a city view room. The room was clean, well presented and quiet. WiFi was available throughout the hotel. On arrival I had a great lot of difficulty finding parking. You actually drive down the back road (have a look at the map on their website) and you either enter through the back gate down at the start of their boardwalk, or actually drive and park at the front of the hotel on the boardwalk. The boardwalk was full of people but parking is out front (or back). Door staff and security staff were very helpful as was the barman. Wine was 750 rubles a glass in the main restaurant (eek - and not that great a selection either). I had 10 "tiger" prawns one night (which seemed more like banana prawns for 1100 rubbles. Strangely I then ordered the next day the mixed seafood starter...which came with 6 "tiger" prawns, 2 mussels and much calamari) for 550 rubles? Quite bizarre. Breakfast was included and wholesome, but their were no tables cleaned on my first day and no-one seemed to be around to clean them. Overall, a mixed picture, for an otherwise nice hotel with generally reasonable service.…
