Excellent hotel in the heart of St. Petersburg, close to the Cathedral of the Savior on Spilled Blood and a short walking distance from the metro! Clean rooms, wonderful customer service! Very courteous and personable staff! Highly recommended! Отлично!
Comfy beds, great location, nice breakfast and neat clean! Very near most tourist attractions at a walking distance. Stuff was very friendly which is not often in all Russian hotels. Only one bad thing happened to us (me and my mom)... We needed to catch a train back to Finland. The receptionist said the taxi wouldn't take dollars or euros. She said we must go to the bank, I told her we didn't have time or we'll miss our train. She insisted so we went in a very stressful hurry and made it back still on time. She ordered us a taxi and it took for the taxi to arrive almost 45 minutes so we missed our train! He wasn't even an official taxi! And he DID TAKE DOLLARS, He overcharged us! for a taxi drive of $4 he charged 3 times that... So AVOID ASKING FOR TAXIS AT THIS HOTEL!
The hotel lies in a quiet neighborhood. The Hermitage and the Church of the Savior on the spilled blood are around the corner. You walk to Nevskiy Prospekt in 10 minutes. You can even walk to Peter and Paul fortress by crossing Troitsky Most. We (my sister and I had both our own room) had a room with a split level and a superior room which I do recommend. They are large and have a jacuzzi and a sauna. Rooms are clean and we had a fridge. Mineral water is provided daily (it is not recommended to drink water from the tap) and there is water available at the reception. You can make coffee and tea in your room. The shower gave sometimes very hot and than cold water, that was a little bit tricky. Breakfast is very good with good variety and warm and cold dishes. The room in which breakfast is served is small though. It is sometimes difficult to find a table that is unoccupied. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They helped us find our way in the city and you can even book tours with them. The hotel has no lobby where you can hang out. Therefor I recommend a larger room where you can chill out after a great day in the city.…
Lovely staff who couldn't help you enough. Breakfast was good especially the porridge. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite and enjoyed using the sauna. Close to all the sights. Would definitely stay there again
A very nice hotel, comfortable bed, very quiet surrounding even though very central to everything in walking distance. After the first night i figured out that i can not sleep in that room with the daylight ( with nights in June). So I asked at the reception if they have a dark curtain, they didn't have one but they went to buy so in the night i had already a dark curtain in my room. Great service I appreciated that a lot. ( I stayed there 7 nights ) The stuff was in general very kind, unfurtunately the last day just before leaving i had a very bad experience with the lady at the front desk young blond hair ( 23.-24-June 2019). Very arrogant and rude. i hope the Hotel is going to quit her job because it damaged my nice experience in that hotel.
