This hotel is conveniently located close to the centre and most of the attractions. The hotel lacks comfort, mostly single beds with cheap linen which does not feel well at night. Breakfast OK. Too expensive for what you get.

This place is located about 15 mins from the train station and right on the canal. We got a duplex room on the attic with a Jacuzzi and a sauna. The entrance is through a common complex which is not very great but the place is centrally located and walking distance from all the attractions. The only thing not good...

The location is great - just a few minutes walk from the Hermitage and other major attractions. This is a budget hotel which offers 4 star service. Good breakfast buffet with fresh ground coffee, comfortable beds (rooms are small) clean bathroom. Kettle and cups provided along with TV. Fabulous staff. Highly recommended

I stayed at Moyka 5 looking at the hotel photographs. BE AWARE. The rooms are very small. Only Plus: near to the city centre. But you can get much better hotels at the same price. !! Breakfast was okay. no options for vegans. Lift is from the 2nd floor so you have to drag your luggage till the lift.

i recently traveled to St Petersburg for business and my customer recommended this hotel because of its location. It is perfectly placed to be able to see the highlights, with the Church of the Saviour of the Blood less than 2 minutes walk away. Olga on reception was very helpful and spoke great English. Hotel is well located at city center near attractions. The hotel is ok, beds need to be changed, couldn't sleep at all due to that. Breakfast was poor with no cooling for dairy products. Warm breakfast and cold breakfast was next to each other. If you are disabled in any way don't stay here since you have to go up...

Sauna and hot tub were a mere shower with poor ventilation. WiFi didnt work at all, receptionist suggested to sit outside the room to use wifi. Use different hotel in the same area!! Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The name comes from the address, No 5 Moika Riverfront, and the hotel is right in St. Petersburg's historic cultural centre. Nearby there's the multi-coloured Church of the Resurrection, popularly known as the Church of the Saviour on the Blood. From the hotel it's only a five-minute walk to Palace Square and the Hermitage. The city's main thoroughfare, Nevsky Prospect, with its museums and glittery Parisian-style nightlife is less than ten minutes away. Definitely worth a visit is right on Moika, the Pushkin Museum, which is situated in Alexander Pushkin's last home. The Hotel Moika 5 has 24 rooms in three categories-18 standard rooms, 2 superior rooms and 4 suites with sauna and Jacuzzi. All rooms in the hotel come with television, phone, room safe and WiFi Internet. The four well-designed suite-rooms are split level and have air conditioning. Breakfast is also complimentary in the hotel's ground-floor cafe. Also worth a look is the hotel's own art gallery, constantly replenished with exhibits of work by local artists. Guests can have their choice among any or all of the hotel's many standard services, such as visa support, registration for only 190 roubles and a car and driver to and from the airport or railway station. There's a laundry and dry cleaning service, a choice of cars with drivers, experienced interpreters in any language and tickets for airplane flights or journeys by rail. ... more   less
