- Big property, Old soviet hotel , Radisson seem to have taken over in recent years - Clean rooms - number of inhouse restuarants , bars - easy check in - helpful staff - nice views of the sea - a bit far away from center, about 10 mins from metro station by marshrutka so best is to take taxi everywhere - reasonable price
Well, it is a huge huge hotel. Perhaps the biggest hotel I have stayed in my whole life! We were on a conducted group tour, and our tour company chose the hotel. Would I stay there again, if I went on my own to St. Petersburg? Probably, if I get a good deal, price-wise. Nothing to complain. Good, spacious room, everything worked. But, being a massive Soviet era building, distances were huge. Our room was about five minutes walk from the nearest lift! Breakfast was quite good. Wide choice, and food was tasty. Staff were quite friendly, and many of them spoke some English. Overall, a good place to stay.
This is historic Soviet hotel initially designated for foreign tourists visiting Soviet Union. This spirit is there in spite of being part of Park Inn brand now. Interiors design and architecture makes it.
The hotels is officially 4 star but I doubt about it. When you arrive at the hotel at midnight you can see the real level of service and standards. 3 persons at the reception and none is satisfied: can’t find the booking - the price right one is wrong in comparison to phone conversation - couple gets the room with twin (simple) beds. No free parking space left The rooms and halls are tired and not cleaned well. Old wall papers, dust in the rooms, tv does not work. Be ready for 3 star and enjoy st Peterburg
