top 5 star Hotel in St.Petersburg - top located near Michailowski-Theater - in the midle of the city between the city’s most celebrated landmarks - friendly staff - perfect service - clean - calm rooms
We live in St.Petersburg and considering lockdown and all the other things decided to just celebrate by getting away from our kids and everyone else and spending a romantic night at a good hotel. We chose Grand hotel Europe which was definitely a great decision. The rates now are amazingly low for this kind of accommodation plus we got an upgrade to a superior historical suite on the 3d floor, the room was great, the reception treated us with free sparkling wine on arrival, we spent some time at the lobby bar which I love for its old-timey aristocratic touch, had a great night and a perfect breakfast with everything one would wish for after a romantic night - pancakes with caviar, salmon, sparkling wine, variety of cheeses, healthy and super foods, I mean - anything you can think of. This was the first time we actually stayed at this hotel although had been there many times before being residents of the city - most of all we appreciated the service, it is above all praise, the kind of service they probably got in grand old-time hotels - super attentive and super helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone…
Excellent historical hotel in the center of Saint Petersburg. Excellent historical rooms, decor, magnificent interiors of the hotel. Nice lobby bar with live music. The hotel is located in the heart of the city and has beautiful views from the rooms, especially from the rooms with terraces. It turns out a lot of services, the hotel corresponds to the status of five stars.
World Class priperty with historic traditions - and the best locaiton in the most beautiful city in the world. Yes, I am biased. Being in the heart of the old city center and going everywhere on foot really adds to the experience.
During the pandemic crisis it is difficult to put a smile on your face if you have lots of empty rooms. The staff managed to provide an excellent service despite being under such stress. Enjoyed every minute of my stay at and around the hotel. The walls of the hotel are so thick that you hear nothing either from the neighbours or from outside. A truly historic experience at the Grand Hotel.
