Loved this hotel, just wonderful in every way possible. It's safe to say I didn't want to leave. I stayed in room 206 which was classically decorated with a gorgeous view over the park. The breakfast is one of the best I've experienced.

You are made to feel really welcome, the rooms are large and well appointed. A good variety of restaurants within the hotel cater for most people's needs if you don't want to venture further. Breakfast is a massive buffet of hot and cold dishes - the only problem you will have is deciding what to eat. A room on the...

We had a wonderful weeks stay at this hotel. Very comfortable rooms with all amenities. Very good buffet breakfast. Above all, a great location to explore the city with the underground on the door step and many sites within walking distance. Live music in the bar in the evening made for a lovely relaxed return to the hotel in the...

This hotel is fascinating as it really tells a story of the past decades... The service is top notch, the restaurants amazing and overall quality is very high. Some of the rooms could be refreshed a bit but overall a wonderful experience.

I was impressed by this majestic hotel being very impressive in all its meaning. The hotel is really beautiful with an old fashioned touch which gives a certain charm and character to the place. Furthermore, the staff makes you feel comfortable and valuable that is usually found in boutique hotels. I definitely recommend this hotel for all said above as...

Room is spacious and nicely decorated. (Make sure you don't take the rooms on the inner court but on the outside with a window). Breakfast has everything in a nice setting. More romantic than business.

In times of stars and archistars, of boutique hotels and trendy places, it's good to know there are the grand old places where time seems to have stopped in the best possible way. The rooms are spacious, with great bathrooms, the service is top class, the restaurant suggestions are excellent, the bars and breakfast location wonderful.

For a hotel of this scale, the personal touch is remarkable. An attentive turn-down service, a spot-on concierge with a keen eye for guests' personal preferences, little gifts and a 'yes-we-can' attitude to any type of request really make the difference. The breakfast buffet could be improved with healthier, quality choices, the spa should have a hot tub, and the...

Amazing location and athmosphere. We had great drinks in the bar before going to dinner at mansarda restaurant. Impressice selection of beluga vodka, champagne, wines and wiskey. A piano and saxofone played maked the ambience quite unique! Make it a visit just for a quick drink and you won't regret!

A trip to St Petersburg should include a dining experience at the Belmond Grand Hotel Europe's Caviar bar. The staff were helpful in explaining the types of caviar, vodka and also hints on champagne in particular Dom Perignon.
