The location of this hotel is really convenient and meant we could walk absolutely everywhere. The breakfast has good options but make sure you order it every night otherwise you do not get it - they did not explain this very well. Some of the staff do not speak very good English which was difficult at times. The laundry is also non existent.

We were disappointed with the Grand Mark after reading such positive reviews prior to booking. We had the "junior suite" which was quite large and well lit, though quite tired looking, compared to the glossy reception area and main corridor which are much more stylish and better decorated. It almost seems like you are staying in a different hotel when you enter the room. The big issue for us are the paper thin walls and ceilings. Most mornings it sounded like a herd of elephants were walking around upstairs. Our last day we had a group of teenage girls staying next door that shrieked and giggled all evening and had their TV on maximum volume all night, right behind our bed. Thumping on the wall just resulted in jeers. As others have said, if you are in a street side room it is recommended to bring a sleep mask as the curtains are thin and street lights are outside. The breakfast was small and basic but enough to get us going in the morning. The staff seemed reluctant to register our visas and it took a little cajoling to get this done, but otherwise the staff were very helpful and friendly, although their english was not great. I would say this hotel is 2 or 2.5 star, certainly not 3.5 star.

We made reservations months ago but they could not find our reservations. My wife and I were given a tiny room. Not a single chair in the room, I had about 10" on my side of the bed. There was a foul Oder In the room. The floor was clean but there was some mold in the shower. Staff was helpful but spoke very little English. They were unable to print us up our boarding passes. I would not stay here again.

The location is really nice and also the size of the room and bathroom (bigger as expected) The problem was when they forgot to clean the room every day and also they forgot to bring the breakfast one day. They also miss to bring someting and one day they even did not bring anything for breakfast. That was annoying. Better not to expect too much about breakfast, it is a disaster. The receptionist called Vera was the only who spoke English and she helped us with everything we needed. Anyway I was happy with the location and the room size

We are a family with a kid of 1 year. It has a comkon entrance for 2 hotels. We checked into the hotel late and was greeted by Alina. Let me tell you in the start that she was the only one that seemed friendly. We were promptly checked into our room which was a plus as we were tiredand didnt want to wait around for the registration process. She took our passports and said that we could collect it after breakfast the next day. We had booked a double room and the room was big. It was spotless with a bathroom that was large. There were toileteries in the bathroom and kitchenette in the room. There were also 2 bottles of water which was included in the room price. The hotel is situated in a good area with st isaacs within walking distance. While checking in we were given a paper to select what we wanted for breakfast from the available options. It had pancakes with either ham or fruit filling, boiled egg, juice, coffee, toast, tea, porridge, etc in its options. We chose whatever seemed best it was the same breakfast everyday unless you called the previous day and made any changes. The breakfast will be served between 7 to 11 in your room. The breakfast was just ok nothing soecial. The porridge is essentially oats. Though its nothing spevial it will keep you going during the day. Housekeeping was alright and The staff spoke english which was a plus. However, we didnt feel welcome at any point during our stay. There is a lady ( other than Alina) who seemed pissed off and had an attitude about her. When we talked to her ir seemed like we were an inconvenience to her. She never smiled and had a condescending air about her. Will not go there again due to the attitude of the staff and to be honest you can find better hotels at a lower price.
