I had been there for the third time since 2010. They keep their traditions in service and comfort. Cleanness and tasty breakfasts, pure water are usual for this M-hotel. There are many cozy places to stay in the evening and have late dinner up to 24.00 in 5-10 minutes to walk.
The hotel is located in an absolutely perfect location for touring the city. You can walk to every part of the sights easily. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Every one I saw would greet me in a friendly way. The breakfast was good, with a variety of choices. The room was quite tiny but comfortable. Three things let the room down - the spring mattress (uncomfortable), hard and high pillow, lack of power outlets at the nightstand. All in all, this is a really good hotel and I recommend it. I have nothing but praise to give.
The hotel is located in the center, very close to all the touristic places. The room was very clean and overall a nice experience. The staff was very helpful to us, giving us good tips on where to go out and struggling to find us a taxi quick, being a bit late for the bus departure. Thank you for a nice experience!
Hotel is located in a yard behind a gate in the hearth of St.Petersburg. Room was ok, with one bed and TV set. Breakfast was varying - different assortment on every morning. Water heater in room, in case one wants to have hot water.
We really enjoyed our stay in this nice hotel. Room was spacious, cleanliness was perfect. Staff was very friendly and helping. We got a present for the New Year as we stayed on New Year's night. It was so nice, a really pleasant surprise. Breakfast was good, so we only have a positive feedback for the hotel.
We appreciated the large quiet room, location in walking distance of most of what we wanted to see and the helpfulness of the charming English speaking staff. Breakfast options were good though not lavish and there is a small bar on site where we enjoyed hot chocolate and wine in the evening.
We ran into it a couple times in Russia, where addresses can be confusing or duplicated, or just some kind of weird bureaucratic screwiness. The M is actually a sister to the Majestic around the corner, and is hidden away in an interior courtyard - but our taxi driver eventually tracked it down for us! It is a nice 3-star close to the center of the city, right off of Nevsky Prospect, with a nice courtyard and trees and a quiet sense about it. A lot of interesting people in and out of it, which you will get to rub shoulders with during the breakfast buffet. After we had arrived, the front desk was extremely helpful to us in arranging an excellent private tour of the Hermitage, tickets to the opera at the Marinsky Theater, boat trip to Peterhof, etc. They made light work of our needs, on a "day of" basis and were invaluable. There is also the Alexandrinsky Theater in the neighborhood, and the local cafes and restaurants are to be recommended as well, populated as they are with a theatrical crowd particularly after 10:00 PM.…
The Hotel was very good and the service was excellent, I really enjoy my stay there and I felt very comfortable . I do recommend to any one who travels in SPb and wants to be close to the center of the city
Clean, friendly, safe & secure in a great location for exploring the main sites on foot but with very close access to the Metro. Breakfast is not the most inspiring but was probably the best during our 2 weeks travelling around in Russia. Staff were the friendliest & with the best English during our trip.
I liked the location because it's very central and not in the first row, somehow a inner courtyard. Therefore it was very quiet and we had a good sleep. The lobby and breakfast room could use an update but staff was very friendly. overall a good value for the price.
