VladStar Inn has everything: beautiful historical, building, well located (city centre), high standard comfort, staff very nice and helpful, you need something, just ask ;) The kitchen has a fridge and laundry machine all new, there's balcony to sit outside sighting a calm courtyard. The perfect deal to enjoy Vladivostok in excellent conditions! I recommend it!
Good things 1. Perfect location. You literally can walk most famous places of Vladivostok. 2. Very clean. 3. Room was big and nice. (I've stayed at tripple(?) room) 4. Every single staffs's kind. Bad thing 1. Shared bathroom and toliet.
It was perfect. First of all, Vladstar Inn has a wonderful host who is Khamid. I’m sure you would be fully comfortable with his service. Also, it has perfect location. You can go Central square, Arbart St. within 5 min by walk. Highly recommended!!!
From the airport, we waited for the first Primorye Express train into Vladivostok city at 7.45am. The train DOES NOT run regularly so it’s worth checking well, the time train that you need to catch if flying out of Vladivostok, as the airport is 44 kilometres north of the city centre and expensive if you have to catch a taxi there. The cost is 230 roubles on the train, tickets are purchased before you board at the ticket window. Conductors will check tickets on the train. It’s a full hour’s trip to the city centre, and the first train of the morning will fill up rapidly with commuters heading to work, so be prepared for the crush and keep luggage close. You alight at the very last stop (the terminus) Out of the station turn right and walk for ten minutes up Ulitsa Aleutskaya street (there will be a park on the left-hand side of the street you will pass) Turn left at the next main street Svetlanskaya. To do this, you need to go down stairs to cross under the intersection. The Hostel is on the right-hand side of Svetlanskaya street 5 minutes’ walk up from the intersection. The Swarovski shop and IKRA shop are on street level and the Hostel entrance is between both on the second floor. We were greeted by a charming guy who showed us to a well laid out room- Khamid. Everything was clean with towels provided. This is only a very small hostel so you won’t find too many guests about, but it is incredibly central and reception is manned 24/7. The kitchen is small (a kitchenette really) but is stocked well with cutlery and crockery if you needed a reheat of anything. There is a long balcony which runs the full length of the building and is great to use on fine days or to air washing. The location is a definite 10/10 so very central to everything. Vladivostok is easy to walk and has too much to see and do. We were stunned at how beautiful this city is and how picturesque it is. Walking down Svetlanskaya Street (the opposite direction to walking up to the Hostel) you come to the main Central Square where there’s a bronze figure of a man holding a flag. Keep walking this direction to the Zolotoy Bridge with its 737-metre span. There is so much to see anywhere along the waterfront. Sunsets are superb in Vladivostok and the night life is also sensational. There’s many many restaurants, cafes and bars all within 5 minutes of the Hostel. We were happy with our choice and would return again. This hostel is not flash but certainly is clean and comfortable. We met many seniors staying here too. It’s close to the station and a good central address.…
We stayed 3 memorable nights, great service at the hostel , the staff was very helpfull and courteous. Our thanks to Aleksadr and Cristina - always a joy to see them (sunny inside the hostel though freezing cold on outside). I would really recommand this place.
