Location: Excellent. Next to Metro station. The dorm room has a small balcony with a lovely view.
Room: Stayed in the 4-bed dorm. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I could feel the springs in the bed. But it didn't affect my sleep.
I spent five days (four nights) at Vagabond Hostel and had a wonderful time.

The hostel is great for meeting people (do it!), and the staff is very friendly.
Honestly, it's a *great* choice for a budget, exploring-the-city trip to Moscow. Also, the hostel is super safe (girl speaking here), including the mixed dorm.

I booked Vagabond via Hostelworld taking into account pictures and recommendations, and I made the right decision. The hostel is situated very close to Tverskaya Metro station, which makes it easy to get to other places, though walking towards Red Square only takes 30 minutes....More

When you need to hide from the city’s noise and traffic but don’t want to stroll too far, Patriarch Ponds is the place to be. Calm water, friendly swans and ducks with beautiful early 20th century architecture in the background make this neighborhood a place you’ll never want to leave. Besides stylish bars and restaurants scattered in the streets around the pond, you’ll be able to enjoy museum life from
modern art to a former private apartment of Mikhail Bulgakov. As most of the businesses are open late, stop for a cocktail and then stroll by the pond to rent a boat and row yourself to the middle of the “bowl” as the locals call it.
