This is a very well kept hotel in walking distance from Arbat St. and the Smolenskaya metro station. Well equipped rooms, friendly staff and an outstanding breakfast. I would definitely return to this hotel.

I have stayed in Moscow many times, my fiancée lives here, and so I frequent the city. In that time, I have stayed at many other hotels across the city, and none can compare to my stay at the Golden Ring. The staff here were friendly and helpful, even warm, something that can be hard to find in Russia. The...

I stayed in this hotel for two nights in June 2016. Location was great; the hotel was located right down the Arbat Street, a pedestrian street. Staff was of mixed help. Some were great and positive others offish. Good value for breakfast. The atmosphere was pleasant at breakfast, every morning a lady singing harp, although to be honest, in the...

I stayed at this hotel for only 1 night as part of a business trip and I would say the hotel is very nice. Helpful staff who spoke excellent English, room was clean and a good size, so was the bathroom.

Very nice hotel, very close to the tube station. A lot of space in the room. The room was very quiet. The gym is nice and you have everything you need. Breakfast buffet offers a good choice of sweet and savory options. The only thing I have to complain about was the temperature inside the room. despite I've turned down...

2 metro stations from the Expo-exhibition- center. Good location also for turism reasons if metro is ok. Rooms are fairly big, bathroom too. It is cleaned but they could do better. Breakfast is more than good, with a lot of choices. TV: choice of channels is poor but this is not a real problem. Coincerge available, as well as other...

Very good hotel, 400 meters to Metro, 45 minute walk to Red Square. Many shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Hotel rooms are on the small side but immaculately clean. Breakfast choice is very good. Room heating was not controllable and too warm for sleeping.

The Golden Ring hotel is perfectly located in the center of Moscow, close to the metro station and walking distance to many important sites. The service was great from beginning to end, specially the staff at the bar which is where we ate most of the nights. The food overall was very good, breakfast is super complete but a bit...

Good place to base yourself for exploring the city. Great staff and all the hotel extras you need are there. Liked the huge Stalinesque building (one of seven stars?) opposite which is a nice nod to the former soviet union... which is why I liked the old fashioned feel of this place!

I liked my stay at the Golden Ring hotel. The staff was very helpful, especially with giving directions to attractions. I used the gym facilities and the gift shop had decent prices for souvenirs too. The breakfast was fantastic with tons of choices and even a harp player which made it seem so fancy! The dinner banquet food was good...

Staying in Khamovniki

Neighbourhood Profile
Khamovniki could be considered a city of its own – here it’s possible to find some of Moscow’s most important cultural institutions such as the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, the Novodevichy Convent and Trubetskikh Estate, great sport locations such as Luzhniki stadium and aqua complex, and long and beautiful Luzhniki embankment. Pick your preferred form of transport to explore the area – bicycle or river cruise during the summer and taxi in winter as many of the great places are situated beyond a short walk.
