There is only one bathroom for the whole hostel. Lines are super long. You can't have a hostel in a regular apartment. Maybe it's fine for Russians who are living there and have their own schedule - but it is not cool for the very few foreigners that stay there. The staff speaks English, but too many Russians live there...

Good day Dear guest! Very important to us and expensive your choice! We are always watching for a review about us. People in our hostel may not be much, since we only have 3 rooms: 6,4 and 2 seater. Access our large designer bath in which sufficient space is limited by a time interval of 15 minutes, as evidenced by...

I was very happy of staying at this place which is quite in the center of Moscow. The beds are suitable, lockers are included, there are comfy chairs and free WiFi. The shower, the toilet and the kitchen are clean and provide everything necessary. The only thing that I disliked was the entrance which required ringing at the door.

As I decided to stay again in this hostel, I will not repeat a full assessment. You can refer to my the previous one. While confirming confirm my overall positive evaluation,I would like to add a couple of important points: - the administrators appear not to be very friendly. No greetings, no welcoming, no offer of help or information. They...

Booked and were going to pay for a 6 bed dorm for 4 of us as we wanted the space and privacy, received an email few days prior to arrival asking if two permanant residents could stay in the 6 bed dorm with us. We agreed - big mistake. One of these permanants was very rude and made us feel...

Hostel is very nice, very good location, acceptably clean, far from busy streets, therefore very quiet, english speaking staff, free wi-fi, cheap transfer to the airport.... However, when we got there, they didn't have hot water. Apparently, once a year Moscow city is doing something with the water and they don't have hot water at this time. After 10 hours...

I met my very good and close friend in this hostel when she worked here briefly a year ago. I came back to Moscow last month to see her, and my second stay here was just as memorable and fantastic as the first. Despite a few minor things that could be changed for the better, I was happy to see...

This was my very first experience of hostel living so I was a little nervous but thankfully had no reason to be. The hostel was clean and well appointed, felt more like staying in a friends flat than a hostel. The staff member I dealt with was very helpful and apart from a slight hiccup with the airport pickup I...

I had great expectations regarding this hostel, but I faced a couple of problems that nobody would like to have. I reserved a double room two months ahead of my trip to Moscow, and only 3 days before going there, I was informed that the room would not be available for the first night out of the four booked, despite...

Well I stayed 6 night in this hostel during my second trip to russia and I really enjoyed it. It's nice and clean, you've got a lot of space (even in the 6 bed dorm) and the staff is very friendly/ The location in Moscow center is also very convenient, so you shouldn't hesitate to stay there.

We stayed at this hostel way back in August 2010 ( We are a bit slow) and really enjoyed our stay here. It is more like a homestay than a hostel and the people that run the place are really nice, cool and funky! The place is in a great location even if the walk in the courtyard is slightly...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hostel and Hotel "Day & Night" is located near the metro station "China Town" and Chistye Prudy, only a few minutes walk from Red Square. It is difficult to find a comfortable accommodation in the historical part of the city for so many small fee. Nearby are attractions such as the Kremlin, St. Basil's Cathedral, museums, parks. The convenient location allows you to enjoy strolling through the famous streets of the capital, a visit to cafes, restaurants, shops and boutiques. Remove the cheapest room in Moscow and at the same time for a vacation with all the amenities is quite real: the hostel offers access to the full set of services: Free Wi Fi; cozy kitchen with cooler, toaster, microwave oven, tea, coffee, sugar and clean water; comfortable bathrooms are shared with a shower; spacious lounge for relaxing and socializing (perhaps holding lectures and seminars, viewing multimedia materials); washing machine, iron, hair dryer, dryer; provision of towels and rubber slippers. We do our best to visit the hostel felt themselves comfortable and at ease, at home, could have a rest, eat and socialize. The settlement is carried out when booking or subject to availability. Check-in is carried out in 13 hours, leaving 12 hours. Perhaps the room occupancy. Clarify the price or book a bed or a room in a hostel can be right now. Call us! ... more   less
