While writing nice reviews for places makes you feel good about passing on knowledge and maybe supporting those establishments for future bookings, the real purpose of this site is to be able to warn off other innocent travellers from the truely nightmare like hovels that are out there. This is the worst place I have ever stayed in. I like the previous reviewer's comment that it was "so unbelievably bad it was funny" - this was exactly how we felt about it too! It is not a bed and breakfast for a start. It is a self-catering flat with some out of date food in the fridge. Other...

My boyfriend and I were in Petersburg and decided to come to Moscow at the last minute. Since this was a whimsy, we did not want to spend a small fortune and a friend suggested Samovar B&B. We stayed for three nights in Samovar "Bed and Breakfast" earlier this month. Nakita was our 'Host' (I use that term in the losest possible sense). He showed us to what would be our grim abode for the next three days. Samovar is not a bed and breakfast, Samovar is a two roomed flat in Moscow with the following facilities...
