Slightly out of the hustle of the town centre but walkable in 5 mins. It is up a hill so people with mobility problems should be aware. Rooms are very large and clean. Everything you need is there. Breakfast is nice, served on the terrace. Staff are very helpful and its a thoroughly nice place to stay.

Stayed there for one night. This hotel is near the city centre, in walking distance. The room i stayed was bigger than usual for this category, and also very clean. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was more than nice. I would stay again there.

As others have noted, Villa Casa Alba is a pre-World War 2 house transformed into a small hotel. This gives it a distinctive character -- it has more charm and "local feel" than you will find in a chain hotel, without the feeling that you're staying in someone's living room that you can get in a bed & breakfast. The...

I needed an alternative hotel since my business trip just happen to coincide with a Champions league match being played locally. Found this small property at a very interesting price. Super calm location (althought there is an elementary school behind the premise which can create some noise during the day) in a nice neighborhood and only a few minute walk...

Very nice house with 9 rooms in a quiet area not far from the centre. We had reserved a double room at 360 Lei. Due to an error in their reservations, twice the employees asked us politely to pay more (470 lei) for the suite they gave us. Finally because we had a confirmation by fax, we paid only the...

Vila Casa Alba was recommended by a local resident (friend). Although not immediately adjacent to the touristic center, it is in a pretty, residential neighborhood with walking distance. Seemed well run. It was a former home of a successful entrepreneur prior to WWII, and has been restored into a charming small hotel. Our room on the back overlooking the garden,...

We stayed here for 2 nights in October whilst looking at Cluj. It is a large old house converted to a hotel. Staff were fine and the hotel which is classified as 4 star in Romania was the only one outside the Athenee Palace in Bucharest (which is in a different class in every way) which attempted to live up...
