I attended a seminar and we stayed here for two nights. This was just a simple bed and breakfast but the rooms were clean. The place was peaceful and quiet. There were no other guests around that time. Mess hall was okay and the food was not bad. The location was great though.

They will clean the room only upon requests, the linen and towel needs replacement, the window needs cleaning, the bathroom badly need upgrade, wifi is ok but not that excellent, food is ok. the price of the hotel is expensive for such basic or ordinary tv, aircon, table, nothing much, no pools.

I only stayed in the hotel for 2 nights but I was happy with my stay. My room was a good size, with aircon, TV, and minibar. The free wifi was pretty reliable. The restaurant served a reasonable buffet breakfast and a fair selection of other meals at moderate prices. The staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing to criticise really.... More

Read the reviews online and was expecting the worst but it ended up being not as bad as the other reviews (for a 3 star hotel and at that price, you can't be too choosy!) Front desk staff are efficient, as well as the bell boy which is always appreciated in any stay. The rooms are thankfully clean and the... More

East View Hotel is relatively close to shops and restaurant. SM savemore and Lopues east are walking distance. The room that I have stayed (510) is very spacious with a queen-size bed. Their free buffet breakfast has limited choices of food and took a while to refill a dish. All in all, my stay was comfortable with clean sheets and... More

The hotel really needs to update the facilities. Rooms are in terrible shape. Moldy, bad AC. Staff is nice, but not very capable. I stayed here for business, so the location seemed convenient because you can avoid the city traffic. But I would not stay here again.

Chose the East View for the first of several accommodations while in Bacolod, and I'm glad that I did. The room was excellent, very spacious and roomy, and the bed quite comfortable. And I would be remiss if I did not mention the assistance of Toni, one of the young ladies who manned the front desk. My luggage was delayed... More

Don't stay here. We saw a mouse in the elevator in the middle of the day. The rooms have not been upgraded or maintained since it opened. The room key was an ordinary key without a keychain but you'll still need the keycard to turn on electricity in the room. There is also a weird smell in the hallway.

You can actually expect what to see inside once you see the facade of the hotel. Chipped paint, crack on the glass, poorly dressed guard with faded uniform, There's also a certain smell when you go in. Sheets are kinda old and not so soft. Oh the water flow sometimes just stops in the middle of your shower time. But... More

My first visit to this hotel was in 2011, the same year TripAdvisor took notice of the Hotel and awarded it with recognition. Three TripAdvisor stickers are on the front of the main entrance. In my very first visit I was impressed with its spacious room, well lighted and well appointed. What made my stay the first time most memorable... More
