We stayed during the IM 70.3 and booked the junior suite. From reviews, we already knew what to expect. A pleasant surprise was that the room had a bath tub, microwave and utensils (plates, cups, spoons and forks). There is no wifi and cable was out. We had to call the front desk with a complaint about it. We expected... More

I have recently stayed here last weekend for the Cobra Ironman 70.3 event. It was less than 2km away from Shangrila Mactan where the event was held. Room is basic but clean. Pillows were a bit hard. Request for additional pillows. Hotel has a kitchen where you can cook. They also provide water via their dispenser in the kitchen. They... More

We stayed at a higher end hotel for the IronMan 2014 in Cebu last year. The trade-off with nice hotel amenities, buffet meals was the the inconvenience of getting to the race route to support my niece who joined then. Learning from that experience, I immediately booked at the Casablanca of the Big Foot Hotels for the IronMan 2015 which... More

We stayed at Casablanca 1 last March 2015 for a business-related trip. We found it to be succinct - 2 single beds each with a fairly good pillow and blanket; 2 desks and 2 chairs, free internet - but we brought our own pocket wifi - so I wouldn't know how fast the download time be; hot and cold shower,... We booked a room at Bigfoot and indeed, Bigfoot is nice, well run--but we were shunted to a building about 250 meters away that is clearly a place designed for monthly rentals. It's called Casa Blanca Gardens. The room we were offered was clearly flooded recently and it literally stunk of mildew. As an RN in Occupational Health I would... More
