This apartelle is very well provisioned and comfortable. Everything is clean, modern and convenient to use. The grounds feature a beautiful pool and sitting area. The restaurant serves a nice breakfast, and the staff are all exceedingly kind and helpful. Great value for money. Highly recommend!

Very friendly and helpful staff, which is rare since I came to the Philippines a month ago. Some hotels I stayed the smiles were fake or paid, some did not smile at all.

Rooms are nice, good airconditioning, fast and steady WiFi, spacy, but not really practical for example: light switches and powerplugs are not in reach of the bed.

Too bad the window curtains couldn't cover the light from the hallway entirely, so it's not dark when you try to sleep.

Noise from outside was a bit annoying too, barking dogs and roosters from across the street (they have a farm for bird fights) doesn't really helps when you try to sleep.

Bathroom was not clean, dust on the shelfs, shower nozzle was dirty for the entire stay and there were still toothbrushes from the previous users laying in the shower. I mentioned this right away at the front office but no action was taken.

Nice pool.

One thing that makes it really memorable was the restaurant, the best Sisig I ever tasted!

Nice location, in a quiet and up-market gated residential area, close to the airport and SM Lanang Premier Mall. Whilst, as some remarked in other reviews, this means that you cannot just stroll outside to the shops without taking a taxi, the ridiculously cheap taxi fares in Davao allow anybody to get the shops in comfort for a mere Dollar.

All of the staff in this Hotel are very friendly, helpful and aim to please. That they are sometimes seem a l little inefficient, is a typical Filipino trade and is more than made up by their eagerness wanting to assist you.

The Rooms are furnished and decorated in, what I would call; Japanese inspired minimalistic Style and are of a very good size. The double bed is large enough for two to sleep in comfort and the matrass was very good and firm. The Air-condition was one of the best I have ever seen in the Philippines and it fulfilled its job efficiently and super quite – you could even set it, so that you don’t get a draught.

The Deluxe Rooms are more like a little Apartment, complete with a small kitchen area where you will find a fridge and coffee making facilities. The only little point that Europeans need a little to get used to, is the open built concept, which also means, that bathroom and toilet, whilst separated from the sleeping Area, are not giving the level of privacy we might be used to. Speaking about Bathrooms, watch out for the high-tech toilet, that provides the ultimate in hygiene, Japan style!

The shower cubicle is a good size with a clean shower head, something you cannot take for granted in the Philippines, ample water pressure and, believe it or not, accrual warm water, again something you don’t take for granted when on one of the 7100 Isle that make up the Philippines.

All the basic supplies that one needs in a Bathroom are present, including even a set of wrapped toothbrushes. Should you require any stocking up, simply ask the staff, they are happy to oblige. This simple trick is something many of those writing comments seem to have forgotten, thinking Staff should be able to read their mind!

The whole complex is covered very well by WLAN, however, as found in so many places in the Philippines, the actual Internet connection proved by the carrier, does seem to struggle in providing sufficient bandwidth. This is totally outside the control of the Hotel and can only be solved by serious infrastructure improvements by the Telecom providers.

The "complementary" Breakfast is, in line with most of the Hotels in the Philippines, a little meager, but freshly prepared and tasty, whilst “a la card” drinks and food a la card is moderately priced and good. They even have a quite good Steak selection on the menu.

The Pool is very well maintained and of good size and surrounded by a little garden area, complete with seating and two showers. During the whole of our 2-week stay, the pool filtration pumps where running nearly round the clock, ensuring perfectly clean water quality, inviting you to swim.

A little comment about the alleged safety issues in Davao and surrounding Area.

As Davao is part of Mindanao, one would be forgiven for having heard about safety related issues in the News. Let me say that my wife is from Davao and I personally have never seen any signs of trouble and I have never felt threatened in any way, even when walking alone at night through some of the areas off the beaten track. The previous Mayor of Davao, now the President of the Country, has addressed petty theft and drug related crime with an iron fist.

I booked this room cause of all the good reviews. Everything seemed good when we checked. After the first night we didn't leave the hotel till 930 and I put the make up the room sign on the door and when we returned around 6 that night nothing had been done to the room. Bed was a mess towels wasn't changed mini fridge wasn't restocked with water or anything. We told the front desk and they sent someone up to clean and there excuse was oh we thought you was still sleeping. The second day was a little better except for when they replaced our towels they didn't give us any face towels so once again we had to go down to the front desk yet again.(we tried to call but no one answered but yet when we go down someone is there) The third was we come back all hot and sweaty and just want a shower and all our towels are gone and nothing replaced (we even just had the towels hung up cause we would of used them again cause of all the problems so far) once again they had excuses tell us that the send the laundry out and that it was that's company's fault for whatever reason. Mini fridge still had not been restocked since we arrived. Once again we hand to go down to the front desk. The forth day we come back from another long day and just want to relax and once again the room wasn't even touched. We didn't give them a chance to give us excuses. We just packed up our stuff and checked out early. All the front desk said was sorry. They didn't offer a refund for the 1 night remaining in our stay or nothing but made sure they charged us for every thing that we took out of the mini fridge. Beside all of that hope you enjoy being woke up around 3-4am every morning because right across the road someone has 10+ fighting roosters.

good points:
1. the hotel had a salon which was very convenient for us since we had to attend an event when we stayed in Davao
2. pool was clean
3. food was good (rooms come with free breakfast)
4. reception/staff was very accommodating
5. easy to get a taxi since reception will call one for you

not so good points:
1. i think this is my only complaint. the bathroom was not enclosed so the smell could be a problem. something is wrong with the drainage of either the shower or the toilet, cause for some reason we could smell the foul smell. it is not a pleasant smell especially when you are out the whole day and all you want to do is rest on the bed. the unpleasant smell will greet you. there are also drain flies around the bathroom

The Good:
1. the location of the hotel is excellent! located within a guarded subdivision/village. near sm lanang, airport and restos as well as gas stations.

4. the hotel is well lighted, staff and employees are friendly and courteous
5. the hotel is equipped with a pool (with changing colors at night), resto, and salon
6. had a good sumptuous eat at there resto. complimentart breakfast is tasty, with a variety of choices in there menu
7. the rate is affordable both in rooms and resto
8. the room is clean, homey and highly recommended there bed are all queen in size

I am not sure how many rooms this hotel has but it is nice & modern. It has a pool big enough for guests. The staff are courteous & helpful. The rooms are clean. It is located inside a village that is within a short driving distance to the mall.
The breakfast included tastes good too.

As a business trip, we opted to stay in a place where it will be comfortable for us to sit for breakfast and be ourselves, Be-ing Suites in Davao, gave us that vibe. With friendly staff and accommodating manager, we were well taken cared of with our needs.

I highly recommend this place for people who travel with kids or company that does not need to get stressed from an enclosed environment.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome, Be-ing Suites!

Have tried a lot of mid range hotels in Davao and by far be-ing suites is the only one we always come back to. It s located inside a quiet neighborhood and has the ambience of a huge quiet house... the design makes for a clean look.
