Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It's more like an inn. Kind of old rooms but clean and with clean bathroom.
Price is just right for the accomodation
The location is very good which is accessible to 2 main roads in Davao. It was in the middle of the Kadayawan festivities and right across Aldevinco which is famous for the native products available as pasalubong.

If you just need a place to sleep soundly and roam around the city conveniently. This place can fit your need. It looks refurbished. With basic amenities such as a bathroom (clean enough), TV, personal ref and an ok bed. Adequate for its price. No problem getting a taxi and finding this place. Just say Aldevinco and the taxis know where to take you. Lots of jeeps when you go down the hotel/inn too but haven't really rode one in Davao. You can walk the downtown from this place too and look for cheap and yummy eateries along the way. Lots of ukay-ukay in the compound where it's located.

A surprising gem for the budget traveller. We recently stayed for three days in one of their suites: aircon, hot water shower, refrigerator, cable TV. All for 795 pesos per night.

The unit was spotlessly clean. The furnishings early railroad station ugly. There is an internet WI-FI hotspot in the lobby and adjacent restaurant.

The building in which the hotel is located is an eclectic hodge-podge of delightful distractions from the used clothing businesses to the fried banana stand.

This is not for everyone. Particularly not for the mobility challenged as stair climbs are required to the lobby from the street level and again from the lobby to the rooms

Located on Claro M Recto Avenue, near the better known Marco Polo,

Not much to say on this one other than my advice is dont even consider staying at this antiquated dirty dingy excuse for an Hotel ! don't believe the pics you may find online .

Don't know how the other traveler found a ' nice clean room ' must have been lucky ! . the furniture is from the dark ages , bed linen only fit for dogs to sleep on , TV did work but limited channels , the place was noisy at night time and generally had a feeling of being unsafe , the multitude of locks on the door reminded me of this ,

The area outside the Hotel is not really a tourist zone but with normal precautions that you would take anywhere in Asia it is quite safe as is the rest of Davao , in fact Davao is one of the safest cities in Mindanao due to the hard work and diligence of the city Mayor .
