Even when this place Was booked out IT was very calm here. In the early evening IT gets a bit lively though.
The only 2 thing that could disturb you are starting planes, but you hear them only a few seconds and that the WiFi is only good outside rooms.

The Restaurant offer a small but good choice of food and drinks and the best (thicker) frech Fries I have seen in Midanao.

Thanks to All Team members!

The room was big and clean and the pool was nice. The staff were friendly however it seemed that there was only one person running between the Bar and reception. Also, it seems that the owner and his mates just sit playing cards by the pool in the bar most days, but doesn't make any effort to say hello to the guests (you don't have that welcoming feeling that you get with other hotels). Definitely an ExPat hotel, which is great for the fact that you can get some good old English food (meat pies, etc).

We stayed there in a 2 bedroom apartment which was located across the road from the main hotel. The room was nice and clean and a good location to the airport and other amusements like Zip City and the Croc Park. The food in restaurant was good and priced well. the staff were friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcome.

From San Francisco, USA. My wife and I stayed there 4 months! Gorgeous gardens, comfortable rooms, the staff are DELIGHTFUL‼️ The internet was good, the poolside restaurant was great. Price was reasonable for a very large suite with kitchen. Very safe subdivision called Guadalupe Village with nice little stores close by. Very highly recommended! ~Max and Jocelyn.

Stayed for seven days and enjoyed the quite environment sleeping like a log.The mattresses are comfortable not rock-hard like some other hotels in this price range. The rooms are very reasonably priced offering a great restaurant serving substantial meals at a reasonable price and the beer is (cold). There are cooking facilities in the room if you prefer to prepare your own food..The hotel is close to the airport ,the taxi fare to the hotel was less than 200 peso.
The rooms are fresh and clean and cleaned daily. The hotel is in a guarded subdivision, so I had no worries leaving valuables in my room unattended.
The locality to all services is good including the new SM mall ( due to open this month) being less than five minutes away.
The staff are very helpful and friendly the owner also resides on the premises.
When I visit Davao again I will definitely be staying at the Red Knight Gardens .

It was my first time in Davao and it was probably luck that I chose this hotel. They make you feel right at home. I loved the architecture and design. It's like you're in your own private villa. Hotel is located in a posh gated community at Guadeloupe Village in Davao. Very accessible to nearby entries and convenient stores and if you don't mind walking, just go to mamay road for all the fast food restaurants, accessory shops, bakers and laundry. Speaking of food, I loved the food at Red Knight Gardens. I told them I can't eat meat there due to Halal restrictions and they made sure I get strict vegan food. Prices were quite nominal for food and services compared to other hotels in the city. And they were very generous in storing my luggage while I went for 2 day's visit to Manila.
Talk about comforts, I don't think I can get the kind of ease and comfort anywhere else in Davao

Our hotel of choice was fully booked for our two night stop over in Davao. We booked thru Agoda who never usually let us down, unfortunately this time they did.

Positives
Happy staff who serve at bar/small restaurant by pool.
Food is pretty good.
Pool good but very small

Negatives
It seems some other reviwers had identical experience to us.
The owner sits in the bar area playing cards with his other english and sometimes American friends. He never seemed to welcome or even acknowledge other guests.
He complains about filipinos in full ear shot of the pinoy staff and other guests. Very unprofessional. It was a relief when he wasnt around because the small restaurant/ bar and staff are its only saving grace.
The place is hopelessly under staffed with some young girl running between reception and bar area.

Wifi only in bar area.

Rooms are circa 1980 with old boxy tvs. Good selection of channels but ancient tv sets. Rooms are spacious with kitchenette but you wouldn't want to use the kitchen, old and musty. In fact the musty smell hits you immediately on enetering room.

Bathroom in extreme need of updating as was the whole room. No matress cover just thin sheet covering matress. Just not acceptable.

To conclude; the whole place needs updating. It has the feel of an 'old boys club'. Happiest moment was checking out.
Poorly managed under staffed and crying out for an update. Feel sorry for the few hard working staff. In a word.....stay away

I wont bore everyone and will just state the facts. Will you get the most bang for your buck? Definitely YES. The place is not the best out there, but for the rate you will spend, it's all worth it. I did my research and asked around before deciding to visit the beautiful city of Davao. I didn't want to spend too much on unnecessary facilities and services that I would normally pay for staying at let's say "The Best" hotel in the area. All I needed are the basics: A nice and quiet place to stay and sleep on, friendly staff, good food, and the best deal/ rate I can get. I would say I did not get disappointed at all. I'll definitely recommend this place.

I stayed at the Red Knight for 5 days in May. The staff are the best thing about the Red Knight. They are helpful and always smiling. As other reviews have said there appears to be a small expat community living here some of whom are friendly, others less so... I would say that half of the guests replied when I said hello and half just gave suspicious unfriendly stares and remained silent.

It is reasonably clean and tidy but don't expect a 3* hotel. I would say more of a 2* apartelle. However it is safe and the pool is clean and pleasant. The gardens are well maintained and the grounds are pretty. A taxi to the nearby mall and restaurants is about 100 php each way.

Overall I wouldn't stay here again as there are much better value options available. I was charged 2350php per night for their 1 bedroom apartment which, while large, was not good value for money when compared with other hotels that I have frequented during my time in the Philippines. In fact the rooms here are more expensive than comparative rooms in Makati!

Hi there, Across the road from the main entrance of Red Knight Gardens there is a 2 bedroom apartment with cooking facilities. I have stayed there myself when I was there in Davao and found it very comfortable and reasonably priced. To make further enquiries you should contact Red Knight Gardens. I hope this helps you.
