Me and my partner stayed in this hotel several times when staying in Manila. We always appreciated its cozy vibe and the amazing food. They stay in this boutique hotel has a competitive price, and the location in Poblacion is just great!
This time we were looking for a place where to spend 2 weeks of self quarantine in Manila. Even if our original plan was to stay for two weeks, we ended up staying 6 nights only.
The food was as delicious as always, any dish we ordered was sumptuous. The only down point is that sometimes we felt the price was not justified by the tiny quantity.
Anyways, what bothered us the most and convinced us to shorten our visit is that we saw only one person among all the staff and management wearing a mask. Even the guests were not wearing a mask.
I mean, we didn't feel they were taking this pandemic seriously and they might have put in danger the safety of their guests.
Said this, in more "normal" circumstances I'd come back over here, because over all the place is great!

I loved everything about this hotel, the warmth and hospitality from the owners and staff were abundant always. Also it was a great value. But the food — my goodness. House made bread, pasta, noodles — only the finest ingredients from the local markets, very well executed variations on French and Italian classics. And V again, a great value for such quality. I woke up every morning excited to go downstairs and have their omelette with the fresh baked bread. Can’t wIt to come back!!

I visited the Elements restaurant and was blown away by how good the food was. Eating beef in the Philippines isn’t always the best. But I ate a steak tartare that was the best I’ve ever eaten anywhere in the world. The chef Julian from France is different class. The dessert of profiteroles with yummy ice cream inside was simply sublime. Reasonably priced this place should be rammed every night. I’ll be a regular.

This wonderful little hotel has managed to provide a sanctuary in the midst of the Makati chaos surrounding it.
The food in the restaurant is just the best.
French, simple and classy.
I mean the best!
The surroundings are simple arty and stylish and the rooms comfy and clean.
We have not one criticism of this little establishment. The owners need big congratulations.
They have got to the heart of what good accomodation means and they have nailed it.
The best!!

Unprofessional and incompetent staff. I asked questions and instead of answering my questions in a conversational manner, they kept copying and pasting a generic template response over and over again. Infuriating.
Capital O? More like Crapital 💩 O.
I will never book here again.

To keep a long story short: me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel for one night and next to all of out valuables got stolen from our room. There is no security cameras, no guard at the door and the reception is usually unattended (we tried calling the hotel several times for directions leaving the airport since no taxi driver knew where it was and no one picked up the phone, this was in evening time). Also, the room we stayed in (a superior room, can't remember the nr, maybe 307?) was easily opened by sliding a card between door and frame, something we unfortunately discovered after the damage was already done and our valuables stolen, the door frame is chipped and it looks like it has been broken into before. After check in me and my boyfriend left the room for 5-10 min to go next door and buy water (there is none in the room) and when we came back we were missing ipad, laptop, gopro, cash... We were told by staff (all french, so is the owner) that it was "impossible" for someone to have entered our room and when saying we wanted to go to the police and file a report (to be able to claim money back from insurance) the owner advised us not to bother and that "s*** happens" when you travel (!!!). There's a lot more I could say about this incident but I'm choosing to stop here. Other things to note: the owner will smoke indoors while speaking to you, there is no wi-fi reception on the fifth floor (we got moved to a suite up there after the theft), there's no toiletries, you can hear noise from the restaurant downstairs in your room, the staff seems to be more concerned with drinking and having a party than caring for guests. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else if you can.

We had a great lunch here this weekend after friends advised we try it. It was such a relaxing, long.. and delicious lunch! You wouldn't expect the type of environment and ambience in that part of the city but it was so refreshing!

We overate (massively) as we wanted to try everything on the menu, but we will go back and make more reserved choices next time!

Such a refreshing change from the other places we are used to going in Manila, has such a great feel!

Used this hostel as a stopover before flying out of Manila early the next day. Went to the restaurant downstairs too. On leaving the man at the desk said he would check the room, I waited and when he returned he said he was charging me for beer from the room fridge. Which I didn’t have. When arguing my case he told me to check the room, I ended up having to pay for the drink I didn’t have.

Cheers Elements!

I booked this hotel for a business trip of 3 days. First, the location is great as it is in the heart of Makati - very convenient for everything you need. Second, with the price of this hotel room, the quality is simply excellent - very warm service from the staff, clean and tidy room, and the restaurant of this hotel is really good. The staff is so friendly that it made me feel very welcomed. I would like to take my wife to stay there again next time.

Do you have smoking room ? and how long does it take to the airport from the hotel?
Manila, Philippines
Dear Ms Ririei, Thank you very much for your interest in Element Boutique Hotel. All our rooms are non smoking room but we have room with balcony where it is allowed to smoke. We are located 4km away from the airport. The time to go from the airport to the hotel will depend on the day and the time of our arrival but in general it will take 30 to 45min. Thank you very much.

Is there parking?
Answer from Armand MC B
Manila1 contribution
There is street parking in the neighborhood although limited. It's first come first serve. The hotel has 2 parking slots infront of the building and can be reserved when you call ahead of time.

Children below 10 are not charged extra. The room is spacious and if you do not mind sharing the king size bed with the kids, the standard room will do. We usually recommend the penthouse spa suite for families or the deluxe room with king size bed and add an extra bed for older kids
