We had a pleasant stay at the Makati Diamond Residences. It’s super close to Greenbelt which had plenty of options for dining and shopping. It’s also just minutes away from BGC in Taguig if you wanted to explore and see newer retail shops and restaurants.
Our room is quite spacious, clean, and well appointed. The bed is comfortable and the sheets are immaculate. I’m glad water filters are installed in each room because while bottled water is cheap and available everywhere, it produces a lot of trash. While the towels are clean, they need to be replaced: wear and tear is visible and they’re no longer white and fluffy. Perhaps older towels could be recycled for other purposes. As for the shower, it was a bit tricky to control the heater; a slight nudge could change the water temp drastically that might result in burns.
The staff and crew were all warm and friendly.
Overall, we had a good experience and would consider choosing the hotel again in the future.

I’ve stayed with Makati Diamond many times before. Rooms are larger than most hotels I stayed with the smallest at 42 sqm. A few steps to Greenbelt Makati.
It never ceases to amaze me that they have consistently maintained their hallmark of outstanding customer service excellence. From the ranks of security personnel, cleaners, front desk and restaurant servers, I am always greeted with with either a good morning, good afternoon or good evening or a short hello with smiling faces!
Keep it up!!! You make your kababayans proud and show case Filipino hospitality!!!
PS Buffett was excellent with a wide choice of western and Asian dishes. Menu changes daily!

We are halfway through a two week stay at the Makati Diamond Residences and it has been a great experience so far. The lobby staff have been so kind, especially Nard, who helped us with our bags the first day and helped me with my senior dad who got lost in the hotel one day.
The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious, with options for a suite with a combo washer/dryer, which is a lifesaver on a long trip. The housekeeping team, including my room attendant, Grace, does an excellent job refreshing the room daily.
The breakfast buffet is also a thing of beauty, especially the Filipino breakfast upstairs on the Deck where waiter Carl has been taking care of us and bringing my dad taho from the taho bar (!!) whenever we eat there. My dad always leaves breakfast very full and happy. Downstairs at the lobby breakfast, the Alfred team including JC, JM and Chef Norman are also doing a great job keeping patrons of the more pan-Asian and western breakfast buffet happy. Two breakfast buffet options, what a dream! Especially for a long stay.
The location is also unbeatable, with Greenbelt malls right across the street, so you have plenty of dining options within easy walking distance. Greenbelt also connects to Glorietta mall, expanding your options even further. The only caveat is Greenbelt is demolishing an old site to rebuild, so on that side of the building, there is construction noise from morning til night, and it looks like that project will take some time. My dad’s room is on that side of the building but we are on a high enough floor where it’s not too loud, plus he’s pretty deaf!
Overall, it’s a great hotel and I’m so happy I found it. It’s not the newest, shiniest hotel but it ticks all the boxes for me and I would come back again. The staff especially make this place shine.

My stay at Makati Diamond Residences exceeded all expectations. The room was spacious, spotless, and equipped with everything you could need, including a full kitchenette and washer/dryer. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and breakfast offered a fantastic variety of delicious options. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. 5 Star accommodation in every category! I would visit the Philippines again just to stay in this hotel with my family. My kids and husband would have absolutely loved it. The rooms are spacious, have a washer/dryer, and a rain shower that has great pressure and space. The bedroom has all the necessities including a very comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast, snacks, and cocktails are freshly made and delicious. I can’t image a breakfast buffet that offers more options. They even have live musicians for breakfast who place classic to contemporary music at the right volume for a breakfast setting. Great gym with a lot of space and everything you need to get a good workout in. I didn’t have time to swim, but did visit the pool which looked like a great space to do laps or for the kids to play and swim. The staff are exceptional. They are friendly, respectful, and go out of their way to accommodate visitors. The hotel is located next to the greenway with great access to lots of shopping. This is the first time I’ve stayed in a hotel where everything from the food, to service, and amenities are all 5 Star. Absolutely recommend for anyone from family to business visitors.

Stayed for a nite. Location is top, near Greenbelt 5 and most malls in Makati. Checkin is at 14:00, and late checkout can be requested. I got a room with a view of the former Greenbelt 1, so expect some noise from the demolition during the day.
The room is of a good size, with the expected amenities like robes, slippers, toothbrushes. In addition, i got some nice bread snacks, and water is dispensed thru a filtering system. The 2 beds a comfortable, with 2 pillows each. The shower is heated and with strong pressure.
The staff are polite and accomodating. The price for a night is quiet competetive compared to the other hotels around this area. Overall i loved my stay.

We had an excellent stay at Makati Diamond Residences. We were a family of 4 and we traveled around quite a bit during our 2 week stay. We used Makati Diamond Residences as our home base while we jetted around to different spots. Note: this hotel is on the higher end of the scale in terms of price, more similar to North American (4-star) hotel rates. However, you do get more service, better location, and quality for the price of what you would get stateside.
Pros: The hotel itself is elegant and well appointed. Great to have a kitchen and laundry facilities, plus a water filter in the sink. The staff are VERY accommodating and kind (Filipino hospitality is amazing but at this hotel it really SHINES- shout out to Carl and the service in the breakfast buffet!). The breakfast buffet was delicious and had an excellent selection of different foods. The rooms are spacious and clean. The location is perfect right across the Greenbelt and surrounding Glorietta malls for a mix of great restaurants, upscale and casual shopping, and a short car ride (we used Grab) away from BCG and other areas.
Cons: Hardly any. We stayed in a studio suite one night and felt it was quite dated and not as well kept as the 1BR and 2BR suite we stayed in. Though super convenient to have laundry facilities, the dryer in the washer/dryer combo did not work well. We had to air dry our clothes as the unit really only made the clothes hot and not dry at all.
Highly recommend: If you are looking for a clean, comfortable and more upscale accommodation in the Metro Manila area, you can’t go wrong with this place.

We had enjoyed our previous stay at the Makati Diamond Residences (MDR) last year, so we came back again this year. MDR was just as outstanding in all respects as we remembered from our previous stay! They are top-notch in customer service, ie. every staff from those welcoming guests in the foyer, security staff (G.Sales), concierge (Levi & JayJay), buffet breakfast staff (JC, Carl, Irish, Marky and Chef Norman) and the cleaners who service our room (1809), have all provided Customer Service par Excellence. Kudos to all of you guys! Great location - conveniently close (walking distance) to dining restaurants, shopping, supermarket etc. We highly recommend MDR to anyone who plan to stay in the Makati area. We will definitely stay there again in our next Philippine visit.
