It's always more fun in Philippine. Hilik hostel is on best and main location. Hotels and clubs are nearby. All restaurants are along makati road. Hostel condition is also good. I stayed there 5 nights and enjoyed my best time. Management is very friendly. I am again going to stay next month.

Double room with shared bathroom. People should bear in mind that this is a hostel not a hotel or guest house. Therefore, the public areas may be busy and it offers a backpackers' atmosphere. Staff is friendly and guests are too.

The hostel is in the heart of Makati so you have shops, bars and everything you need just steps away. It has nice rooms, good breakfast in the morning and the owners are very friendly and helpful. The only bad thing is that the rooms that face the street are very loud as there are many clubs around. Just avoid...

This is my second stay here. I've seen that they made some improvements in the hostel. But since there is an ongoing construction, it was quite difficult to get a good sleep. One thing that caught my attention is the staff. The front desk staff rarely smiles although he is helpful enough. Then there is this other staff who keeps...

I needed a place to stay near my office for a few hours rest. This is my 1st hostel stay and I think I expected too much basing on the pictures posted online about this hostel. The place is located in the the 2nd level of a building right smack in front of A. Venue along Makati Avenue. It's dark...

Dear Ms. Lagrama, Good day! We are very glad to know your comments which made us more enthusiastic to improve our services. The complaints in our hostel namely: - The hostel is dark and quite small - Louie, one of the Front Desk Receptionists, does not smile - No keys are provided to guests - A leaking air-con kept you...

We checked into the Hilik and once shown to our room, (Number 3) we instantly noticed the sound of traffic in our rooms and the very loud air-con unit. We thought the traffic would ease at night so just dismissed it and headed out. Well after 2 nights and 3 hours sleep we demanded a refund. This place is terrible...

Its clean, friendly enough. The shared bathrooms are good (shame the private rooms dont have private bathroom - they should for the price I think). The breakfast sucks. Ok I dont expect gourmet in a ostel but 1 badly fried egg, cold toast and 3-in-1 is a bit poor. Eggs cost 5 pesos each ..2 decent fried eggs would be...
