Detailed Reviews
Stayed here for 6 nights. Rented out a one-bedroom apartment. All I can say really is that I am definitely coming back. I wouldn't mind staying here every time I visit the motherland.
I've really enjoyed my stay at Somerset in Makati. The location and staff are beyond amazing.
The location is great as it's within walking distance to coffee shops and various places to eat. Just get ready to sweat tho if you're planning to walk around because it's just been scorching hot lately. It's a 10 to 15-minute ride to major malls like Greenbelts and SM Makati.
The staff are the most accommodating I've ever encountered. From the from desk attendants: Hydene, Mayrell, Aries, Dave, Grace, and Yel; to guards, especially Mr. Ronnie (who would get information about your grab car and would wait outside for you); and to the cafe staff.
The room itself is very comfortable and sparkly clean. Thanks to Myra, room attendant, for always making sure the room is clean and tidy. The design is very pleasing to the eyes. Good color contrast. Minimalist style. The bathroom is very modern with a very big rectangular mirror with backlight as well as a marble looking countertop and bath tub.
I just wish the TVs would have Netflix. But if you have an android device, you could screen share. Unfortunately, it's not apple friendly; you'll probably need an HDMI if you wanted to access the TV using your apple products.
Overall, Somerset is a place to be. It's affordable for the quality of service they provide. Thank you so much for a splendid stay. Will be seeing you all again soon!

Definitely one of the places I look forward to staying in again! The amenities are good and everyone's so kind and polite. Would recommend this to my family and friends! The room we stayed in had a mini kitchen where you can cook in and also a laundry area. All in all, it has excellent service!

We visited Somerset Central Makati more than 3 times during our 1 month stay in the Philippines. Partly because it is very close to the Chinese Embassy. But, mainly because we really enjoy our stay here!
The bed, pillows, and comforter is just prefect for good sleep. The studio is equipped with a small fridge and toast machine. The deluxe studio has a washing machine, very handy to us, and a full-size fridge (if my memory is correct). Moreover, the one bedroom deluxe is quite spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen, a set of sofa and a table for 4. The swimming pool is not at the rooftop. So there is no strong sunshine or rain.
All the staffs are very sweet and always happy to help. The room service staff even folded our clothes.
Once we were late for the breakfast buffet, the staffs in the cafe kindly let us choose from the menu. We usually book from asr official APP, but at the last time when we check-in it was under maintenance. Mr. Hydene from the reception offered us good price.
The security department has a high standard. They check every car and even has a sniffing dog in duty sometimes. At the first time we passed by the hotel we were not a guest here, Ms. Grace helped us with directions. She is very warm and we had a nice chat later during our stay. We also thank Jom and Yel for taking care of our luggages and stopping cabs for us. (It is not very easy to find a taxi in Manila, especially paying by meter.)

I had done quite some research on the hotels in the BGC and Makati areas and finally decided on the Somerset Central Salcedo Makati after much back and forth.
If you're looking to stay in a new property, and wish for the comforts of home, this hotel is the place to stay. Whether you book a Studio or a 1-Bedroom, you'll have most of what you need. On top of that, you will experience service at its finest wherever you are at this property. All the staff appear to have been trained to meet a guest's expectations - polite, professional, friendly, at the ready.
The servers at Nonya Cafe were attentive and accommodating, which gave my mornings a great start. Dinner at the Cafe ended my day with their pleasant attitude inspite of what may have been a long and tiring day for them.
Everyone of the front desk crew, including bell staff, were eager to make sure my stay went smoothly, and they also coordinated well with Housekeeping in all my needs and in a timely manner.
The room amenities were as expected of a hotel of this caliber.
I have already recommended this hotel to relatives and friends who may be planning a staycation, or might know someone visiting who will need hotel accommodations. I consider this a luxury hotel but the rates are reasonable - you get what you pay for, and I did. I certainly would come back to SCSM when next I visit.

Very relaxing stay in the heart of Makati with an amazing atmosphere. Everyone is so friendly especially the lobby team Ronnie, Jhomel, Lhaine, Roxanne and May. Thanks for making our stay perfect. Rooms are completely brand new, spotlessly clean and offer everything you need (washing machine, kitchenette, big bathroom, etc.)

Situated at the quiet end of luxurious Makati , it is very near to the weekend market and stones throw away from restaurants and convenience stores.
Hotel since it was rather opened during the time of the pandemic has amenities that are well thought of. Lobby decent. Units/suites are spacious enough. Bathroom was good water pressure. Providing complimentary water in a huge dispenser is a big step toward eco friendly hotel goals and approaches. Fine Tv channel selection. Wireless internet was fast and free. Breakfast selections served by the popular Nonya cafe might have saved the day, particularly for picky buffet eaters. Special mention to Dave of FD , Yel of HR and Rod ? the security detail for making our short stay well appreciated.

recently spent 5 days at Somerset in Makati and had a great stay. The room exceeded my expectations in terms of space and comfort, providing a very good and spacious environment. The bathroom was also noteworthy, being both clean and large. I was particularly impressed with the quality of the WiFi service, which worked great throughout my stay.
The staff at Somerset were outstanding, offering friendly and helpful service at every turn. Everyone was exceptionally nice, adding a personal touch to my stay. The location of the hotel is another major plus, situated in a quiet street yet conveniently close to all the key spots in Makati, making everything easily accessible.
However, there were a couple of aspects that could be improved. The pool was just so-so, and it didn’t quite live up to the rest of the hotel’s standards. Also, the breakfast, although decent, could benefit from offering a broader selection to truly start the day on a high note.
Overall, my stay at Somerset in Makati was very enjoyable, with just a few areas for improvement that could make it even better.
