You get what you pay for $50.00 CAD/night is a good price for the basic lodging. Staff is friendly, room is clean though drab.

Our room had a lovely view of the "Auburn Correction Facility" the first "Modern Prison".

Use the motel as a base for shopping at the Waterloo outlet mall and the scenic Finger lakes.

Very outdated. Fairly clean. Wifi ok. Continental breakfast ok. Location safe. Price was awesome. Inexpensive. The only negative thing I can say...one day we locked our card in our room. Saw a maid in the hall. Asked her if she could open it for us. (Thinking she wouldnt) But she did. And walked away. I could have been anybody.. Didnt ask for any id or anything. Hmmmm.

We have stayed here before because it's only a half hour distance from our destination but this will be the last time. We got into our room and their was no towels or wash cloths in the bathroom. When I sat on the bed a little bug popped up. Naturally I freaked out and pulled back the covers to find a few more. They were fleas! I understand that pets are allowed at this motel but if that's the case then they need a thorough cleaning. My mom asked the guy at the front desk if the pizza places delivered and his opinion of any good ones. He was rude and non responsive. Terrible customer service! I'm glad I wasn't the one dealing with him. This was an overall bad experience. Next time I will book elsewhere.

This is one of only two hotels that take homeless people. The place wreaks of cigarettes and there is no security. It's dark and dingy from cigarette soot. The homeless are the only ones keeping it open.

After reading other reviews, decided to try this motel since I wouldn't be in the room except to sleep. I needed a place to stay for 3 nights. The desk clerk was very nice, but the room was not. Room was dingy and not particularly clean. The bed was fairly comfortable, but not great. When I went to take a shower, I noticed the shower mat laying over the tub rail was wet and there was debris in the tub. Evidently there was a leak in the bathroom above and the paint and plaster was flaking off into the tub. I considered the tub unusable. The "breakfast" area is a tiny bar with room for about 2 people to access the items - which were very limited. There was no breakfast area, just 3 tables in the lobby area itself. Not a pleasant area for eating. The coffee and orange juice were out and it took quite some time to get them refilled. Hallway carpeting was very worn and needed vacuumed. All in all not a good experience. I checked out the next morning and went to another motel.

The rooms were fine, but the hotel was unattractive, had broken blinds and screens visible from the parking lot, and was in a dicey neighborhood. The Inn of the Finger Lakes, a few blocks away, looked much more inviting. We spent one night and then moved to the Bird's Nest Motel near Skaneateles, which turned out to be cheaper than the Super 8.

I have stayed at this motel for the past 12 years because of a reunion that is held every September in that area. It has only gotten better each year! The Patels and their staff are very friendly and accommodating and will go out of their way to make sure your stay is enjoyable.

We stayed for a week in March. The hotel is very basic. Breakfast includes a box of donuts and coffee. Overall, it is clean and the staff is friendly. It is within walking distance of downtown and close to everything. For $45 a night, you cannot complain.
