Chris, Jayson and Dominic were lovely, very much into their work and a nice experience. The service and ambiance were really great and cool. Their jokes were not easy to understand but we enjoyed the thrill of searching for the right answer.

I occupied the Corner Deluxe room alone. Staff from the security, reception, restaurant and pub, room cleaners, technicians/builders, management including the chairman were mostly friendly and accommodating. I was made comfortable and safe throughout my one month stay at the hotel. I felt like I was family with them. I reckon staff have treated all hotel guests equally and with respect. My room was accessed daily (with my permission) to get it nicely cleaned and tidied up. I enjoyed the yummy daily Filipino breakfast buffet at the restaurant especially my favourite longanisa, pandesal and taho. The smallest lunch/dinner dishes were good for minimum 2 people hence it was too much for me. Rain or shine, the hardworking security staff hailed the taxis for me daily. On my way back to the hotel, I came across some taxi drivers who were not aware where the hotel is, likely because it's fairly a brand new hotel in Baguio. With modesty aside, I felt like I contributed to getting the hotel (just a tad bit) become more popular to the locals by bringing them there...not just the taxi drivers but also my family and friends who came to join me for meals at the hotel restaurant. Special mention to Jumart and Ivan at the Reception; Ziera, Erica and Ike at the restaurant, who were all patient and made time to have daily conversations with me and for kindly sorting out my little requests. I ran out of time I did not get the chance to go to the hotel pub and swimming pool. Perhaps on my next visit I will. And looking forward to the hotel gym up and running on my return. Thank you Sotogrande Hotel staff for your company and for looking after me.

Booked for two days on a normal April weekday, checking in was smooth. I forgot to get the front desk girl, apologies. I chose this hotel mainly because of their basement parking. I want my vehicle secured while enjoying my quick Baguio staycation. Parking is perfect, except for the elevator traffic congestion. Two lifts for one tower looks inadequate. I have to use the staircase two or three times from B1 (parking) to our 2nd Floor room.
Overall, hotel design is average. Some details may need improvement like door accessories. My next door neighbor kept banging their doors at 11PM of our second night. Maybe a door stopper or closer may help to mitigate the noise. Individual room balconies would have been better without AC Condensing Units. The Restaurant at the ground floor has no exhaust system. It’s partly open but they have AC ready to use so i really dont know whether it’s AC or naturally ventilated.
Free Buffet Breakfast is normal Filipino food selection. Not bad for the price range. There are delegates from nearby province LGU’s booked the same date as ours, so a bit crowded during breakfast time. F&B staff under Rio did a good job. Crew are cheerful and very professional in the manner they carry their job. Marco, the Resident Manager did a superb job of connecting to us and he’s very attentive to other hotel guest’s needs as well.
Location: It’s not within walking distance from the city proper, but you can book Grab or taxi ride within seconds. It’s very accessible to any part of the city and you can explore Baguio easily.
Overall, would highly recommend this hotel as this is one of the newest hotel in town. Staff’s excellent and professional service overwhelms the design flaws of the building.

Firstly I was welcomly greeted by the parking staff as my car approached the front of the hotel and I was guided to the basement parking lot, after parking me and my Family went to the front desk for my reservation and was courteously greeted by the front desk clerk and was immediately attended to right after the verification I was guided to my room by the room staff with all my bagage placed on the hotel trolley cart. After settleling in we went to the hotel resto for dinner with live acoustic band I was ask by the restaurant staff if we were celebrating anything or just there for vacation, surprisingly because it was my daughters birthday mh daughter was given a slice of cake with birthday greetings on it and the waiters and waitress sang the birthday song then was repeated by the live band. Food was terrific, and i enjoyed the night with my kids. The kiddie swimming pool is heated so my kids enjoyed swimming even if it was raining. Overall my hotel experiance was satisfying considering that the hotel was newly established with construction still going on.. I highly recommend staying in this hotel. I would like to recommend Sir. Jayson hotel supervisor for tending to my needs. Very accomodating. More power. I give it a 5 star.

The hotel was new, nice, and clean. The parking lot is spacious and they have a swimming pool too. The room we stayed in included a bathtub, refrigerator, smart tv, and a veranda with a view. They offer a breakfast buffet and their coffee had a strong flavour. I especially loved their Tapa, which keeps me coming back for more!
A two-night stay was definitely not enough as we really enjoyed our time, especially my child. I wouldn't hesitate to book at this hotel for our next visit in Baguio.
The staff were pleasant, but I would like to extend my special thanks to Ike Bryan Bravo for his exceptional assistance during our stay.

Baguio has always been a familiar place for me. But this time, the stay was special because we stayed in this brand new hotel.
Me and partner booked for a 3-night stay, but the hotel manager Sir Marco called us and said that as we were the first to book in the newly opened hotel he will be upgrading our room to a corner room with a balcony (all rooms have its own balcony naman yata) with a view of Baguio that made us want to stay in our queen bed longer and just skip breakfast. But we did not skip breakfast.
There was no breakfast buffet yet as the hotel is in its soft-opening stage and I think during our first morning it was just us staying in the hotel. But the plated breakfasts served during our stay were enough for us to skip lunch while touring Baguio grounds. Coffee, soup, meat, greens, bread and butter, fruits. Parang sit-down buffet na rin.
I don’t know about the other rooms, but the one we had has a bathtub. Water heater was working so we soaked during the first night for fun. And yes, they have bidet. Hahaha
Some amenities were still not available like the gym and the minibar. But the pool was open to guests. Manager Marco said, “Kayo po mauunang gagamit nyang pool.” And we swam. the water was cold, so just took a dip and tool few photos and we’re good. It will be a heated pool daw, di lang available pa that time yung feature.
For location, SotoGrande is just a short walk away to good restos and bars, and just a quick drive to the busy Session road and SM Baguio. But the hotel location itself is in the quiet part of Leonard Wood Ave, so nothing disturbed our sleep .
Since this is a new hotel, Grab pin is not yet available. Just tell the Grab drivers that to pick you up or drop you off at the SotoGrande Hotel after pinning at the resto beside it.
The hotel is very very fine: price per night IS reasonable, staff were very warm to us especially Sir Jens from the frontdesk, the hotel management provided shuttle service for us from the bus terminal to the hotel and vice versa on our last day, wifi was strong, and LTE from my Smart signal was also strong.
Our whole stay at the SotoGrande was very nice. We always looked forward to going back to our hotel room after a long walk.
And we look forward to staying at the SotoGrande Hotel again, soon. :)

Every time we come across with staff they always greet us with a smile. They are what it means to be hospitable. I also want to thank the security personnel on the lobby door who took my surprise gift for my girlfriend and also to the lobby staffs that made sure the flowers are safe (forgot to take their names), also kudos to the security personnel of the parking. I would like to specially mention Chris and Andrea of the open bar who made our last night at the hotel fun, full and tipsy(thank you for the games and free shots whenever I answered their games). A must try - buffalo chicken, their own take of red sangria and watch out for Chris' September 2024 own concoction.

This hotel has exceeded my expectations! From the accommodating and prompt service of their staff down to the amenities that they offer.
Their buffet menu items were vast and even offers taho which I loved! They also have a pool area which I was unable to try due to the cold climate there. Its location was accessible enough though we had trouble hailing a cab from the city center.
As for the room, it was really spacious and had everything we needed such as the fridge, kettle, safety vault, bathroom amenities and more. Their cleaning service is also prompt so it's really satisfying to go back to our room after a tiring day exploring the city. I definitely will be back and will be choosing this hotel again!
