We frequent Igorot Lodge. This is the only time I saw it like this. Smell of mold. Maybe because the carpet below the sink gets wet. The walls and the room, bathroom, cabinet doors especially the back of the doors need serious cleaning. Just really good tidying up. All others are fine. Ruby of the front desk is very accommodating.

Since AIM turned this old Camp John Hay facility into a lodge twenty plus years ago, my family and I have returned to Igorot Lodge dozens of times, in any season, any weather. What we love besides its location, is the quality of service, and the friendly faces of the staff whom we have learned to regard as family. True,... More

I have no qualms about old structures/buildings/accommodations -- age has its charms. That said, Igorot Lodge feels old but looks/feels like a shadow of its old self. There were cracks on the wall all over the room and in the toilet and bath. We can hear the staff hanging around and talking rather loudly next to our window which is... More

We've stayed here ever since 2005. Lately, it has not been well maintained. My kids reported to me that their room had cockroaches. Shower curtain needs replacement. Bare toiletries. Limited TV channel stations. WiFi limited only to main lobby. Initially, we were assigned to a room with water pump outside our window. We requested to be moved since the intermittent... More

We stayed here back when i was a little girl and we went back last summer. The place has a lodge vibe. The rooms are very comfortable. If you would like to stay inside camp john hay then this is the hotel. The view outside are pine trees and the golf course. The only downside is breakfast is not included.... More

My husband and I decided to take a quiet trip to Baguio last May 2015 and stayed in this place. Since we have not been there for a while we were happy to see Baguio nicely developed. Near the lodge is Starbucks and a small Italian restaurant. The place is conveniently located near the Manor in John Hay and the... More

I have attended a conference/workshop and stayed here. Staff are very accommodating, wifi is fast. It is located inside the Camp John Hay. Taxi isn't a problem, front desk can call for one and fetch you at the doorsteps of the hotel.

If you want and/or need frills, go somewhere else. The room (we had room no.10) had an old yet quiet dignity, were neat and tidied up, had exactly what we needed: bed, hot water in the shower and tap, personal fridge, desk and chair, cable TV, a thermos for hot water (dispensed in a common area near the lobby), water...
